Expecting

Five years, five wonderful happy years since Beca Mitchell and Chloe Beale married each other. Sure there had been a few fights here and there, but they always came back to each other. Be it in song or by Chloe's 'Lady Jam'. That always made Beca's face turn scarlet red whenever Chloe referred to the song that way.

But for now, everything was nice and peaceful. At the current moment, Beca was working on one of her mixes for her job at the radio station she worked at. She had on her headphones, music booming through them, but she was still able to hear when her wife screamed for her from the bedroom.

"Baby!"

"Yeah Chlo, what's up?" Beca replied.

"Hurry!" She heard her wife yell back.

She paused her work and pulled off her headphones before heading upstairs to their bedroom. When she had finished climbing the stairs, she saw her redheaded wife sitting on their bed Indian-style.

"Hey Chlo, you ok babe?" She asked as she leaned against the doorframe.

The Redhead slowly lifted her head to reveal a tear-stained face. This made Beca swiftly walked over to the bed, jumped onto it and embraced her wife in a hug. Chloe returned the hug and wept into the brunette's shoulder.

"Babe, what's wrong?" Beca asked, rubbing her wife's back.

"Beca, do you, remember how we, always talked about, having kids?" Chloe replied in between breaths.

"Yeah, why?"

Chloe lifted her head off Beca's shoulder and handed her a plastic stick she was holding. Beca took it and realized that it was a pregnancy test. She examined it and saw two lines which meant-

"Holy shit!" Beca exclaimed. Her jaw dropped as she stared at the plastic stick in her hand. It took a moment before she came back to reality and turned back to look at Chloe. "You're pregnant?"

Chloe sniffled and smiled with a nod. "I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to find out the gender. Will you come me?"

"Of course I will. I just wish you would've told me."

"I'm sorry, I just didn't know how you were gonna react."

"Well, I admit I'm a bit shocked, but I'm more than happy to have a family with you."

Chloe sniffled again and wiped her tears away, "Thanks Becs. I love you."

"I love you too, Chlo."

Chloe laid back in the chair as the doctor did his work with the sonogram and a picture came up on the screen. 

"And that right there are your babies," The doctor stated as she pointed to the screen.

That made the brunette and the redhead freeze. Did she just say, babies, as in more than one? 

"I'm sorry, did you just say babies?" Beca asked.

"Yes ma'am, twins. Girl twins, actually" 

Twins? Twins. Hmmm, well that's shocking but also cute.

"Did you hear that Beca?" Chloe said with a tearful smile, "We're having twins, two baby girls."

"I sure did, babe. I sure did."

So in one year, the two would be having two baby girls. And they couldn't be happier.

Ok, that's the first chapter of this story. This is my first BeChloe story that has multiple chapters because I was tired of doing oneshots and I wanted to expand this one. So, more will be coming soon. And remember, BeChloe is cannon.
