(Present Day)

Beca and Chloe Beale-Mitchell sat on the couch and watched Chloe's favorite movie, The Little Mermaid. Beca reached into the bowl of popcorn they had and pulled back a handful, whereas Chloe ate her fried pickles like her life depended on it. Her cravings had started almost a month ago and she was eating almost everything in the house. And if it wasn't for the pregnancy, you'd think she was fat, cause she was starting to show.

Beca still had a hard time with movies, but now she was able to watch them all the way to the end. And somewhat enjoy them. As long as it made Chloe smile. But right now, she wasn't really paying attention to the movie. She was consumed within her thoughts, scary thoughts. Thoughts of doubt, doubt that she might not be ready to be a parent. As she was in deep thought, she failed to notice that Chloe had paused the movie and looked at her.

"Beca, are alright?" She asked as she shook her wife's shoulder.

Beca came back to reality and brought her hands up and rubbed her eyes. Chloe rubbed her back in comfort and concern for her lover.

"Chloe, am I ready?" She asked.

"What do you mean?"

"To be a parent, am I ready?"

"Of course you are."

"How can you be so sure, what makes you think I'm ready?"

"Well, you're the bravest person I know. And you've proven it on more than one occasion."

"Name one!" Beca retorted.

"You stood up to Aubrey, multiple times when nobody else would. You also stood up to DSM, and you've made music for us despite the chances of us losing. You're more ready than you think."

Beca smiled and wiped away a few tears. The fact that her wife had so much confidence in her made her feel so loved, and it also gave her a new burst of confidence. So confident that she grabbed Chloe's cheeks and pulled her in for a kiss.

Chloe didn't waste any time in returning it as she ran her hands through Beca's hair. Soon her tounge was entering Beca's lips which the brunette returned immediately. They two of them kissed until they had to break for air.

"Thank you, Chloe," Beca said, "You've given me a new burst of confidence."

"So I see." Chloe replied as she tried to catch her breath, "You haven't kissed me like that in a while. The last time you kissed me like that was when we had fun in the bedroom, which was like, a week ago."

"Well, could we maybe uh...... have some fun now?" 

Beca's face went red as she asked that. Even though they were married and had sex before, she was still scared sometimes. Chloe giggled at her wife's timidness, but just replied with a kiss before getting up and swaying her hips as she headed up the stairs to the bedroom. Taking that as a good sign, Beca turned off the TV, ran the food back to the kitchen, and rushed upstairs to see Chloe sprawled out on the bed with a seductive smile on her face.

The redhead beckoned the brunette to come closer with her finger, to which Beca closed the door and turned on the fan. Cause she knew that things were about to get hot.
