Chapter 5~ Unintended

Lucas P.O.V

I went home with the stench of liquor in my head. The door was already opened so I went in. I saw Kayla on her phone texting, I went over to her and sit on the couch. She put the phone aside and peck on my lip.

She scrunched up her nose at the smell of liquor. "Where you drinking without my supervision?" She asked cocking one of her eyebrow at me.

"No babe, it's this stupid girl." I said and she hummed in response. "She ducked me with a bottle of Smirnoff; just because I wasn't giving her my attention." I finished off and she smiled.

"Because all you're attention belongs to me." She boasted. I was leaning in to kiss her but she placed her index finger on my lip." No not yet get the stench off first then you can do all manner of evil." She said smirking then went back on her phone.

I got up and went to the bathroom, I took a 15 minute shower so I can smell really fresh. I put on a normal t-shirt and a black shorts. I went back downstairs. She was staring at me looked like she  timed me. I went down to her and sat beside her once more.

"You smell like strawberry. I like it." She smiled. She slowly pulls me in and gave me a warm, welcoming kiss. We went in sync our hands starts to roam each other body then my phone rang and broke the moment I sighed in annoyance. I took up the phone and it was Stacy-ann calling me at this hour it's already 8 pm.

How perfect.

"Sorry I gotta take this call." I took up the phone and answered.

"Lucas, sorry if I interrupted a very good time but we need you here." She said. I just hang up the phone and told Kayla I had to leave, she looked disappointed. I went up stairs, changed into a Jeans pants a t-shirt and a jeans jacket.

I went back downstairs and gave her a peck on the forehead and told her I'll be be soon.

Remi's P.O.V

I came back to the infirmary because I got a call from them. When I came everyone was asking for Lucas but I have no idea where he is. We waited about 30 minutes before we saw Lucas walking in.

Fortunate much.

I sighed sitting in the couch while waiting for him to enter. As he entered he went up to Stacy.

"So what now?" He asked in a annoyed tone. Everybody face expression was like 'I expected this'.

I didn't expect this.

"Most of us were here an hour ago, half an hour go and you were the one who decided to come now. So don't ask me what now more than you apologize to me explain why you're late and the listen." She quarreled leaving everyone else holding their laugh.

It was so funny I couldn't hold it anymore. "Hahaha!" Everyone was looking at me. I held up my hands in defence "I'm so sorry, I couldn't keep it anymore. You really hit the jackpot." I smiled. Still holding back some laughter.

Hehe that's my Stacy. I think she's the only on who knows how to handle him.

I looked at him but he just sighed like it was a regular thing.

What an ass.

"I wanted everyone here because you all are in danger." She explained while pressing the remote to turn on the flat screen television.

"So since Remi is new here, let's start from scratch." She clicked the remote and I saw a man I think I noticed him he looked familiar but to be honest I couldn't recall where I've seen him. Maybe it's the wrong person. "50 year old Jonathan Love. He's Lucas father."

What the...

"He's a drug dealer, assassin, con man he has been charged for every evil doing you could think of and of course he owns the biggest black market somewhere in America. The closest we've got to him is by his son. He has multiple gangs. They call him The Professor. He send his gangs and pay people to shed blood or get rid of any one in his way."

Wow he's a boss...

"So the main reason for us to be here is that I got a report just a minute ago that his gang is in this area; ready to strike at anytime. You're family will be okay if you stay here but I know you have love ones and stuff but it's a sacrifice you have to take."

But what if something goes wrong with mom?

" Uhm... excuse what if something happens to them when we're not there?" I asked.

"Nothing will happen if you guys stick to the plan. He hasn't been watching us as much lately because his targets are not in this area. I'll give you tonight to think and tomorrow to pack and get here as early a possible." She said leaving us in the room.

I saw Lucas walking out after and I followed behind him. "Lucas wait up. " I said but he wouldn't stop. I ran in front of him and stretched out my hand to block him from walking away.

"I know you're still angry with me but please, find a place in you're heart to forgive me, I'm not asking for a big one but just a tiny dot. I promise I will do anything you say... I guess." I pleaded.

"You'll do anything I say?" I hummed in response. "First get out of my way and second, I don't want your pity." I moved and he just walked off leaving me standing there thinking.

How can someone be so cold yet handsome... Ohh yes! I guess he have already found a place in his heart for me.

I said leaning against the wall.

I don't want mom to get in any trouble and I don't want her to live alone. Dad is going to be home next week and he's going to be busy. I really wanna stay but Stacy is right, you have to make sacrifice in life if you really love someone.

I raised up off the wall and went back into room I just exited.

I really wished my life was normal. And I think Lucas would have said the same.
