Kim Hyejin POV

"Ms. Hyejin, your breakfast is ready on the table." One of my maids bow to me and i lift my eyes from the book i was reading.

"I'll be there in 5." I smiled gently, and close the book. My maids close the door behind her and i sighed, looking out to the window from my vanity.

"This lace dress is uncomfortable as always." I scoffed and stood up, preparing myself for breakfast.

"Good morning, Father" I said in a monotone, flat voice.

"Had a good sleep?" He asked, paying his full attention on his newspaper.

"Like always, nothing special." I close my eyes and dig on my omelet.

He sighed, and put down his newspaper on the table. Thats new.

"I want you to learn about our family business as you have already grown up." I fixed my eyes upon his figure and eyeing him as if i was hearing wrong.

"I'm not interested." I put down my fork.

"Stop being so stubborn, you are the only child in this blood-line to continue our company stability." He crossed his arms.

"Then make a new sibling for me with that young girl you've been seeing lately." I turned my head towards him and go back on eating my breakfast, un-interested.

He sighed, and grab his newspaper harshly. He knows that he can't get mad at me, let alone yell or raise his voice. My features has a huge similarity to his wife, my mother. Who died 2 years ago.

"You're learning everything regardless of what you said. I could care less." He goes back to reading his newspaper.

I closed my eyes and drink the last bit of my water, and head upstairs to my bedroom.

I close the door behind me, and sat down by the edge of my bed.

I opened a box underneath the bed, filled with old dusty albums of my childhood. I flipped through the albums while smiling to myself.

Suddenly, i heard a knock from my window.

I got up and waltz my way towards the transparent-looking border and opens it wide.

"Is there someone the-" A hand wrapped itself around my mouth and push me down to the carpet of my bedroom. I widened my eyes due to the sudden impact. A guy wearing a black hoodie with ripped jeans. His eyes looks familiar.

"J-hhh fhh jh" I muffled on his hand, while his eyes scans around the room, making sure no one is inside. He sits me up while i eyed him suspiciously.

"Jeon Jungkook." I backed away from him. He smirks, letting off his hood down.

"Nice to meet you, princess." He crossed his arms, while eyeing me up and down.

"Why are you here." I looked away, flustered.

"Nice lace dress, really compliments your curves." I turned my head towards him with my jaw hanging and tried to cover up the down-half part of my body.

"What do you want." I glared at him.

"I want you." He crawls towards me. I widened my eyes.

"Go back on playing with your toys, international playboy." I backed away slowly till i reached the wall of my bedroom.

"Hm, not a bad nickname after all when it comes out from a pretty lady like you." He smirks, his eyes are full of lust, like always.

"Back off or-"

"Or what." He stopped and looked at me with a teasing smile on his face.

"O-or,-" I kept thinking of the words i wanted to say. He laughed mockingly.

"Come on, you need to have some fresh air for once." He stood up and sat down on the border of my window.

"I don't go out with strangers." I stood up slowly while patting the skirt of my dress.

"Am i a stranger? I remember you acknowledging my name earlier." He looks at me with his eyebrows raised.

"Look, if you came here just to bother other people's day then do it to someone else. I'm not interested on playing your little games." I walk towards my bed and cleaning up the box i opened earlier.

"Childhood pictures?" He rested his chin on my shoulder which made my body froze.

I cleared my throat and swiftly go down to put the box underneath my bed.

I turn my body, only to find Jungkook standing really close to me, closing the gap between us. I crossed my arms.

"Out."

"Harsh." Jungkook crossed his arms while wearing his signature smirk. At this point i'm just tired.

I sighed, "What do you want."

"You." Jungkook walks over towards me which made me reflexly backed away from him. I was about to stumble over the frame of my bed when he caught me by putting his arms around my waist.

"Stop this right now, Jeon." I looked up to him.

"Shh, i know what you've been through." Jungkook put his thumb on my lips and slightly brush it off. I froze.

"You rather live with this so-called dad, when he doesn't act like one?" Jungkook questioned, which made me glare at him.

"Don't you dare speak such words towards my-" Jungkook cuts me off.

"Towards who. Who is he to you, Hyejin." Jungkook eyed me with seriousness filled in his eyes. I stopped on my tracks and look away.

"Hey," Jungkook softly pressed my chin and turn my head around to face him. He slightly lift my chin up.

"Come with me." Jungkook pressed his tone. I raised an eyebrow.

"Why should i."

He smirked.

"I can give you a better life than your own blood-related father." Jungkook stated.

"And what does it change? By me living with you. Nothing. My dad will kill you if he finds out about this." I put his hands down but he grips my hand back. This time he places my hand on his cheek.

"He won't kill you if i kill him first." Jungkook smirked, and kiss my hand. I widened my eyes at the words that just came out from his mouth.
