Imperial Era- A depiction of the suffering and heartbreak after the fall of the Republic.
[Part 1 of a small comic I doodled today]
"I'm sorry, Momma, I let you down..."
"Sweetheart, you made me proud to call you my son. It's okay to cry. Now rest easy and sleep. I'll stay with you always. I love you, my son."
Backstory: the woman in this comic was a teenager(she is not a Jedi but a civilian) around the time of the fall of the republic and had fallen in love with a Jedi just before that. She was pregnant during the fall and was left to take care of the child after her husband was killed during Order 66. Years later having survived by what little hope and good was left in the galaxy she joined up in the ranks of the rebel forces and her son when eligible became a soldier in the rebel forces. But after a a surprise attack on one of the few remaining bases of the rebellion, she found her son in the destruction and rubble of a bloody aftermath, and holds him in his last moments...
