Later, Roland and Garrick went upstairs, looking for Sofia and Hugo. Amber and James emerged from his bedroom.

"Ah, Amber, James, have you seen Sofia and Hugo anywhere?" Roland asked.

Before the twins could answer, Sofia popped out from her room. "You wanted to see me, Dad?" she asked.

"No, we haven't seen you and Hugo in a while," Roland declared.

"Is everything okay?" Garrick asked.

"Not really," Sofia declared. "Some kind of magic wind was in the castle and messed up my room."

"Magic wind inside the castle?" Roland frowned.

"Well, Princess Hildegard told us that," Hugo declared.

"Preposterous," Garrick scoffed.

"Especially since the window is broken, and so is the chandelier," Sofia said.

"Well, we'll have to replace the chandelier, and I'll hire someone to fix that window," Roland said.

"Thanks, Dad," Sofia smiled. "Well, we just finished dusting the shelves and putting my tiaras back."

"Now we just have to get these books back on the shelf," Hugo declared.

Roland, Garrick, Sofia, and Hugo put the books back on the shelf.

"Thanks," Sofia smiled. "But something doesn't feel right," she added with a frown.

"What's that, dear?" Garrick asked.

"I can't help but think I forgot something," Sofia declared.

"You're probably just wondering how there can be a magic wind inside the castle," Roland said.

"Well, champ, we have a few more hours, so we can stay a little longer," Garrick declared. "We'll be leaving by sunset."

"Okay, Dad," Hugo said.

The kings left their children alone.

"Oh, boy this is definitely worth recording in my diary," Sofia declared.

"Go ahead—I'm a little tired anyway from picking all those apples and cleaning up this room," Hugo declared.

As Hugo lay down on the bed, Sofia went to the bookcase to get her diary, but she skimmed through the shelves and couldn't find it. She looked on the floor, and it wasn't there.

"What's wrong, Sofie?" Hugo asked.

"My diary isn't here," Sofia gulped. "It's not in the bookcase or on the floor. I left it in the bookcase before my room was a mess."

Hugo ran over. "And it's not on your desk either," he frowned.

"We have to find it!" Sofia fretted.

Meanwhile, Amber and James were feeling guilty for what happened.

"Gosh, Amber, I don't know about you, but I still feel guilty about Sofia not knowing the truth behind her messy room," James admitted.

"Me too," Amber agreed. She sternly turned to Hildegard and said, "Hildy, you have to tell Sofia the truth."

"But...," Hildegard tried to protest.

"No buts," Derek said. "We're going back to Sofia's room, and you're going to tell her the truth."

Hildegard didn't understand why she should tell Sofia the truth, but everyone else glared at her, so she said, "Okay."
