Chapter 2: The Pendant

*Elementary School; 8:00 am

"Good Morning students!"

"Good Morning Miss Satte!" Everybody replied.

"Okay kids. Take a seat and let's see who's present for today." She said.

As we sat, I notice a beautiful butterfly fluttering in front of the window beside me. It was really pretty but, then... it suddenly disappeared.

"Is Angus present?" Miss Satte asked.

"Yes Miss Satte, but his staring at the window again." A student replied.

Miss Satte sighed and came at the side of my seat.

Then she wisphered "Are you alright? Is there something wrong again?"

"Nothing, I just saw a butterfly." I replied.

"Okay class, I think everybody is present." She said to the whole class.

As she fixed her record for a moment, she then saw the paper where some information of the students where at. She was shocked.

*In her mind

"It was Angus' birthday?! Ohhhh, that might be the reason why he was staring at the window these whole time."

She then cleared her throat, stood firm, and said "Angus, can you come here in the front of the class?"

I was surprise she called me but I followed her request.

" Now everybody, it's Angus' Birthday! Come on everybody, please stand and let's sing a Happy Birthday song for him." She said.

Everybody stood, smiling, and ready their hands to clap.

"On the count of 3. 1, 2, 3, go"

They sang, while smiling at me, I felt relieve like they all care for me. But suddenly... I felt a sudden dizziness, everything starts to slowdown, and then... everything was dark. After a few minutes, I saw a woman...

"My child, you are the chosen one, the one that will lift up the curse, help us, help me my child..." she said.

"It cannot be... Mama is that you?!"

She slightly turned to have a glimpse on my face and tears started dropping from her face. Then she started vanishing, fading in the dark.

"No... Mama no! Mama don't leave me please! Mama... MAMA!"

"MAMAAAAAAAA!!!"

"Angus! Angus, are you alright?!" A worried Miss Satte asked.

Its a dream?!

Miss Sattw then hugged me and said "Oh thank goodness you awake, you were sleeping for about and hour and a half."

An hour and a half?! What is happening to me??

"Wh-what?! But-"

I then heard of a rushing sound of foot steps towards here. The door slammed open and there came...

"Papa!"

"Oh Angus. Oh my child, what happened to you?" He asked.

Miss Satte felt like she shouldn't interfere so " May you excuse me, I think you need to talk for a moment" she said.

"I... I don't know... I just stood on the front of the class while they're singing a Happy Birthday Song. Then suddenly, I felt dizzy and everything starts to slow down and turned dark and-"
