"Yes, yes, I understand Dad..."

I mumbled, throwing a few empty boxes to the side.

"If I hear or see you slacking off and going out every night with boys..." Dad's voice was stern.

"What? Of course not! Dad, I'm here to study... No boys, zero, nothing, no one." I said seriously.

And I was serious. I was going to enter a renowned university through a scholarship that I worked my butt off for with sleepless nights and stressful days. I would never throw that away.

Taken, it was also an opportunity to live in Seoul, study in Seoul, and possibly even work in Seoul. It was everything I've dreamed of, and no one was going to ruin it.

Dad sighed through the phone, "Still be careful around Jimin, alright?"

I scoffed, adjusting the phone that was settled on the crook of my neck, "Since when did you count Jimin as a boy?"

"Since that kid hit puberty." I heard Dad reply and I laughed.

I walked to the outside of my front door, seeing no mail. I frowned. I was supposed to be receiving an important receipt today.

"Are you done unpacking? Are you with someone right now?" My Dad asked.

"Yes, I've settled in. And no, no one's in the apartment with me," I sighed, stepping outside my apartment complex.

I spotted the apartment door directly across from mine. I looked to the small mailbox attached to the wall beside that door. A shiny envelope with my name written in big bold letters.

Even with apartments they get the address wrong.

I sighed, "Dad, I'll call you back. Tell Mom that I miss her. Love you, bye."

It was my mail anyways. Do I just take it? No, bad idea. The CCTV across the hall might take it as me stealing something.

After all, it was a good opportunity to greet the neighbors.

As I got closer to the door, I heard some... weird sounds.

I froze, realizing what those sounds were and realizing that those sounds were coming from a female. A very satisfied female.

Just then did I hear a guy groan.

Well, that female isn't alone then.

It was probably some happy middle-aged couple that was trying to make a baby... or something.

And that was fine. When you love someone, you tend to do those kinds of stuff. Yup, it was normal. They were normal neighbors.

When I heard a long pause of silence, I took it as a signal that they were done.

I rang the doorbell two times, suddenly feeling self-conscious and embarrassed for doing such a rude thing while they were having their alone time.

But soon enough, I heard footsteps approaching the door. Then it abruptly swung open.

"What the hell do you want?"

Scratch that, this man was not normal.

A tall, lean, godly handsome man was in front of me... half-naked. With his hot abs and muscles on display for even ants to see.

His hair was disheveled and he reeked of you-know-what.

He looked down on me with furrowed eyebrows and parted lips, clearly annoyed. I quickly grabbed the envelope that was in his mailbox.

"Babe, who's there?" I heard a female voice call from the inside. "Just a random person, babygirl, wait just a minute." He replied, not taking his eyes off me.

He made no attempt of decency to cover up by even just one bit.

"My mail was in yours, I was just wondering if I could take it. It might seem that I stole it if I didn't ask you." I said.

He squinted his eyes, scratching his head, "That's all you needed to say? Take it. I don't check my mail anyways."

He turned to close the door, but I greeted before he did, "I'm your new neighbor, by the way!"

He stopped, turning back and opening the door. He pointed to my apartment complex across his, "You live there now?"

I nodded and he smirked, "I'm sorry for disturbing your time with your girlfriend or wife—"

"That girl inside is just a girl I'm sleeping with, nothing more."

He eyed me up and down, clearly suggesting something.

Realization dawned on me. He's that type of guy.

My next door neighbor turned out to be a next door player.

The man reached out his hand with a devilish smile, "Kim Seokjin. You can just call me Jin. Nice to meet you, new neighbor."

If I took his hand now, I can't deny the fact that he can just drag me into his apartment and push me against his bed and...

I gulped.

He cocked his eyebrow, signaling that he was waiting.

I hesitantly took his hand and greeted back with a tight smile, introducing myself, "Ryu Minjeong. Nice meeting you too, Jin."

There was nothing nice about it.

I dropped my hand immediately. He continued to hold his smile, "I do sure hope so. Oh and please, buy some earmuffs if you're done unpacking."

I looked at him weirdly and he smirked, leaning his shoulder against the doorframe.

"I'm never quiet during nighttime."
