I watch as the new she wolf attacks viciously at the two Lone Wolves who in turn, flea for their lives.
I snort, shaking my head. Cowards.
I watch the black she wolf as she turns towards me, unsure if she is a threat or not. I cover the little girl with my body, protecting her, when the she wolf spots the child.
A possessive growl rips out of her throat and before I can show her I'm not a threat, she launches herself at me.
She pins me to the ground, starting her attack. Her sharp teeth snap in my direction but I dodge her blows. Her claws dig into my chest and I let a whine. I try to find a way to get her off me when the little girl comes up to us crying.
"Momma!! Leave the good Wolfie alone!!" The little girl hit the she wolf and it makes sense. The mother of the child continues her attack despite the pleas from her daughter.
She bites my shoulder and I let out a whine, not wanting to hurt her in any way.
A furious growl rips through the forest and the she wolf is suddenly ripped off from on top of me.
She is tossed gently to the side by my mate. I lay injured on the ground as the she wolf looks ready to attack again, however she pauses when she sees Caden. He protects me, standing over my injured body, possessive, as he growls threats to anyone who nears us.
The she wolf's eyes flicker between Caden and myself before she goes over to her daughter. I rest my head on my paws, exhausted and Caden licks my neck and head comfortingly.
I notice some other warrior wolves from Moonstone standing around, watching curiously as Caden whines at me. I tilt my head at him as he noses my body.
He licks at my small wounds and I stand up from underneath him to show him I'm okay.
He stops worrying over me and his eyes turn hard and anger rolls off him in waves. His powerful bristle wolf disappears as he transforms back into his human form. I look away until he has some pants on.
His sharp golden eyes lock onto my sapphire ones. "Shift." He states lowly. I swish my tail at him before laying down in a ball. "Shift." He growls. I lick my coat as he sighs. "Please shift."
My head snaps towards him. Did he just say please?
I was about to shift back when my eyes focus on something behind him. I let out a snarl and pounce towards Caden.
He turns wide eyed and swiftly dodges me, I tackle the Lone wolf who had suddenly gain consciousness and was going to attack my mate from behind.
I pin the wolf to the ground, growling threateningly at him. Caden stands behind me angrily. I snap my jaws at the Lone wolf.
My eyes connect with the tattoo on his chest, a black circle with a small star constellation in the middle. I survey the area where the dead bodies of the other Lone Wolves lay, spotting the same tattoo on all of them. They belong to a Clan?
I form the tattoo in my mind before reaching out to the Lone Wolf's mind.
Shift. I growl through the mind link.
The Lone Wolf's eyes widen and I back off him as he shifts into his human form. "H-how did you do that?" He questions me in fear.
I was about to shift to interrogate him when Caden takes charge.
Caden's hand wraps around the Lone Wolf's throat and he slams him into the ground. "What were you doing with my niece?" Caden growls threateningly.
