I walked around the school,on my way class.
Defence against the dark arts.
A lot of things had recently changed,Dolores Umbridge was our teacher.
I walked into class to be met with a paper bird flying freely around the room.I took my seat nest to Heromine.She gave me a smile before returning to her book.
I turned to watch the paper bird fly again,before it was burnt.
We turned to face the culprit,Umbridge.
"Good morning,children."She said.
'I'm alreadying pain..'I thought.
"Ordering wizarding,level examination.O.W.Ls,more commondly know as,Owls."She continued writing on the board with her magic and walking to the front of the room.
"Study hard,and you will be rewarded.Fail to do so,and consequences maybe,severe."She said smiling to the class.
I was in disgust...
Umbridge pointed her wand to the books,and they began handing themselves out to us.
"You're previous learing in this subject,has been disturbingly,uneven.But you'll be pleased to know,you'll be following a carefully structed ministry approved course of denseful of magic."She said.
Heromine raised her hand.
"Yes?"Umbridge nodded at Heromine to ask her question.
"There is nothing here about using defence spells?"Heromine asked.
"Using spells?I can't imagine why you would need to use spells in my classroom."She giggled.
"We're not gonna use magic?"Ron asked.
"You'll be,learning about defence spells,in a secure,risk free way."The woman continued.
"What use is that?If we're gonna be attacked,it won't be risk free."Harry said.
Umbridge replied with students needing to their hands when they speak in her classroom.
"It is the view of the ministry,that a theoretical knowledge will be sufficient,to get you through your examination,which is what school is all about."Umbridge replied.
"And how is the theroy suppose to prepare us with whats out there."Harry asked.
"There is nothing out there,dear.Who'd you imagine want to attack children,such as yourself."She asked.
How dense is she..?
"I don't know,maybe....Lord Voldment."
It went slient at the murder's name.
"Let me make this quite plain,you have been told,that a certain dark wizard,is at large once again.This is a lie."Umbridge said walking to Harry.
Harry agrued with her till her recived a detention.Harry continued to agrue,bringing up Cedric's dead.
Me and Cedric were good friends...
"Cedric Diggory's dead was a tragic accident."Umbridge continued.
"Like what?Your birth?"I replied.
I heard the class gasp,and a few giggles.Umbridge turned to me,and walked to me.
"Valory Petal,is it?"She asked.
"Dolores Umbridge,is it?"I answered back.
"Detention..Miss Petal."Umbridge said.
"I'm not going...nether Harry will be."I smiled.
"Valory...I know you have been put into a dark place due to all the lies in the school."She continued.
"No,I'm not in a dark place because of the TRUTH in this school,me and the other students of this school are in a dark place because you're a new headteacher."
Another gasp was heard from the class.
She flicked her wand,slapping me.
Another gasp from the class.
"Now,I expect to see Miss Petal and Mr Potter in my office after class to sever their detention."
