Chapter One
Two Years Later
Bella P.O.V
The sun rays streamed through the little window, highlighting Edward's face. It made him look even more handsome, and I didn't think that was possible. But, nothing's impossible. Just look at my life. I never would've guessed that I would become a vampire. I didn't even think they existed until I met Edward. I mean, I always knew I was meant for something else, but I didn't think that "something else" meant becoming a vampire.
Edward caressed my face and planted a sweet kiss on my lips before pulling away and putting on a shirt. I got up and walked into the kitchen to start on Renesmee's breakfast. Edward started to make eggs and I made pancakes. About three minutes after we finished making the breakfast, Renesmee walked into the kitchen, her hair a mess. She still looked absolutely tired, and Edward tried getting her to go back to bed. I couldn't believe she looked thirteen already. My baby girl is really growing up. That's the only reason why I am allowing her and Jake to date.
As if on cue, Jacob Black walked through the front door. When Renesmee noticed he was here, she tried to comb her hair out with her fingers. She gave him a nervous smile.
"Hey Nessie" he gave her a winning smile
"Hey Jake" she is a lovesick puppy
Edward rolled his eyes at his daughter as he put the eggs on her plate. I gave Renesmee a couple pancakes, and offered the other two to Jake. He took them without hesitation.
"What do you think you're doing eating my pancakes? Do I come into your home and eat your food?" she joked
"Actually, you do"
"I was joking around Jake"
"Really?" he asked in mock surprise
I couldn't help but smile. My little girl was happy and safe. That's all that matters. Well, should matter, right? I mean, they've been dating for a few months and I always worry about what goes on. I mean, I know Jake wouldn't rush her into that, but what if she wants to rush into that? I tried to push that out of my mind for the time being. Edward wrapped his arms around me, and I leaned my head against his chest. Once Renesmee finished breakfast, she hurried upstairs to get ready for her date. I turned to Jake.
"Jake, please tell me you and my daughter aren't... you know"He actually blushed. I took that as a bad sign. "Jake!" I hissed
"Of course not, Bells. I wouldn't do that to you"
"Do what?" Renesmee asked coming down the stairs
"Nothing, love. You changed fast" Edward said
"I already had my clothes laid out" She explained
She took Jake's hand and moved toward the door. I stood there, eyebrows raised. We don't get a goodbye? She turned around and smiled. She gave me and Edward a huge hug before saying goodbye. I watched her walk out that door with him, trying not to be upset. But, how could I be when Edward started kissing my neck? I laid back into him and sighed. He turned me around so that he could kiss my lips. The kiss was sweet yet fierce. Just the way I liked it. I entangled my fingers in his hair as he lifted me and sat me on the counter.
