I woke up the next morning with a soft knock on the door. I got up to get the door and Adam was standing there already dressed. I looked him up and down and said,"Morning." He smiled and stepped closer, he kissed me on the forehead. "Morning beautiful," he said. I went into the bathroom to take a shower. Once I got out I fixed up and I got changed for school. I then went into the kitchen where I turned on the TV. "News reports of the hero Flash getting hurt at the scene of the crime last night. Witnesses say he was hit pretty hard by some kind of massive gorilla, we don't have the full story but when we do will get back to you." I turned off the TV, I checked my text messages and I saw I got a butch of text messages from my mom telling me to come home. I ignored them and called for Adam. He came downstairs and asked,"What's up?" I said,"What happened to the Flash last night? I just saw the news story." He sighed and said,"I don't know I wasn't there but," he said putting his arms around my waist,"I'm sure he's fine. He's the Flash." 

(At STAR Labs)

"EVERYTHING IS NOT FINE!" Kaitlyn yelled to Cisco. "I KNOW OK!" Cisco yelled back. "It's gonna be ok Barry." Iris said calmly to Barry. Kaitlyn said loudly,"He's flatlining." Kaitlyn grabbed a huge needle and said to Barry,"This is going to hurt a lot." Barry screamed and then passed out.

I put my arms around Adam's neck and say,"I hope your right." I go in for a kiss, but then the window shatters and glass goes everywhere. Adam stands ready to attack. I grabbed my phone and text my mom saying,"Mom! It's Grodd." She replies fast,"On our way." The giant gorilla towers over us. A huge soundwave comes over us and I hear people screaming everywhere. I then drop to the ground on my knees. I manage to yell out,"Make it stop!" I don't hear anything until a man's voice comes over my head saying,"Hello Emily Allen." I get up holding my aching head. I back up until the wall and Grodd keeps walking towards me. He gets close enough I can feel his breath on my face.
