A small, young girl with long brown hair and round cheeks (face cheeks, mind you) walks up to you and pokes you to get your attention.
Blue: Hiya, I'm Blue! [waves] This here with the poofy bun on the top of her head is Ellie, that one there with the squinty eyes is Adam (he’s real snobby sometimes), the grumpy one over there is Hunter. (He’s always grumpy ‘cause he's boring.)
Hunter: I am not! [glares and crosses his arms]
Blue: Yeah, you are! [sticks tongue out] Anyway, that’s boring Hunter, this one here with all the magical lights is Jonny. [puts hands on hips] Jonny’s not boring, how come you can't be like Jonny, Hunter?
Hunter: I hate you.
Blue: ANYWAY, the last one here with the really soft hair is Archer. Why can't you have soft hair, Hunter? [pats Hunter’s hair as he growls at her] Okay, never mind. Sorry, Archie, he has fluffier hair. [frantically pulls her own hair] I AM OFF TOPIC.
[everyone facepalms]
Ellie: What she is trying to say, is we want to introduce ourselves properly so the story will be better for you! [twirls almost gracefully]
Adam: [pokes eyes] I don’t have squinty eyes…
Jonny: [creates Adam’s reflection in the air]
Adam: Darn.
Archer: Let’s start this thing!
Hunter: [turns to you and rolls eyes] Welcome to our stupid interviews.
Blue: Hunter, your sass is not appreciated. [hugs Hunter and smiles] But you're still my favoritest.

The children enter the playroom of the treehouse, everyone but Adam sitting down in Ellie’s plastic pink princess chairs. Blue is constantly poking Hunter while he grows more annoyed by the second, Archer is toying with his arrowhead necklace, and Jonny and Ellie quietly pay attention to Adam. Adam claps his hands.
Adam: Okay, Ellie, you're my interview partner.
Ellie: [cheers]
Blue: [pouts] Why do you get to be in charge, prissy boy? ELLIE WAS APPOSED TO BE MY PARTNER!
Adam: supposed***
Blue: [smacks Adam] I hate you.
Hunter: She's learning so well! [wipes tears]
Adam: I'm in charge ‘cause I'm the prince of Unicornicopia and I have a unicorn.
Blue: CAN WE INTERVIEW HIM TOO? [eyes sparkle] PRETTY PLEASE ASDFGHJKL I LOVE UNICORNS.
Adam: Okay, okay. [claps hands again] Blue and Hunter, you'll interview each other.
Hunter: And now I hate you both.
Jonny: I guess that leaves me and Archer.
Archer: [enthusiastically jumps up from his mermaid chair] Okay, let’s get going with this thing! [points to you] We've got someone waiting for us, let’s go!
The children work together to arrange the furniture in the treehouse to look similar to that of a talk show setup. Ellie and Adam volunteer to go first. Ellie sits in the big bean bag chair wearing a bright pink feather scarf and square glasses too big for her face. Blue pushes Adam behind a blanket held up by Archer and Jonny behind the two chairs. Hunter does the heavy lifting and stacks boxes on both sides of the “set” they created. Blue and Hunter sit down in the row of four pink chairs when they are done.
