Floating.
The feeling was so familiar, yet so distant. As i lay on the cold concrete floor of the abandoned, crumbling car park, i felt as if i was floating, though I was on the cold ground.
My body was so tired, i couldn't dare move.
My eyelids, They were so heavy that i could not attempt to lift them.
If one was to come across me, they may have thought i was deceased, but i was far from.
As i lay there, on the icy concrete floor of the abandoned car park, my body to physically tired to move and sandbags hooked to my eyelids, i felt the distant floating feeling then start to here voices in the distance. Suddenly I can't move. Everything was pitch-black, but with the sudden
floating.
voices.
A dim light appeared in the distance.
Distance.
The word repeatedly echoed in my head.
suddenly, everything went quiet.
Silent.
Breathe.
Breathing was getting hard.
I was panicking, but couldn't move. My breath quickly got heavier and came out in short, strangled sections.
Breathe.
Distance.
Silence.
I felt a hand wrap around my throat, but I was alone in the crumbling car park, the hand slowly tightening.
I couldn't breathe,
i couldnt move,
i couldn't panic.
Panic.
I tried to breathe, but no breath came out, only phantom.
Voices.
The distant voices came back only now they were closer, all mumbling things in different languages. Korean, Latin, german, Japanese.
It was all too much.
Too much to bear, they clawed at the crumbling walls and yelled, each in their own language.
Floating.
I was floating upwards, without moving off of the icy concrete. I saw a humanoid, wearing only a white mask with eyeholes and a carved mouth. No features.
standing.
staring.
It had almost no facial features, only a mouth, nose and eyeholes.
Silence.
Suddenly, I hear a language i understand.
English.
"It is less painful for you to die now, living on will only cause you more pain. Do you still wish to live on?"
