Sophia's P.O.V
My name is Sophia and I just completed my graduation. I don't think I can do a big job right now. My father passed away last year and since then, mom's not well.
She got a heart attack 2 months ago and since that time I've told her to stop her job. She works as a maid. I know we need money but that doesn't mean she's gonna be a maid. I'll work and get money. I want her happy she's my only family and I love her.
I currently work as a waitress at a restaurant, it's called "Joe's "the owner Joe Leigh does not care to come much. I've heard that he's going bankrupt. As for now his son Jack is handling everything.
It's my lunch break right now so I'll just have a walk out. "Hey sis... You're going out? "jack asked. Jack is like a brother to me he always takes care of me ."just going for a walk "."oh, Just be back on time and take care " "OK brother..see you later "with that I just went out god knows where.
New York is amazing. I'm walking on the street from where you can see kids playing in the park. The air is cool and I like it...
After 20 minutes I decided to go back. Jack must be worried. As I was entering I saw a black car parked outside. Something was weird.
As soon as I entered, I saw a man holding Jack's collar his back was facing me. "jack... What's happening here and who's this guy??"
I saw fear in Jack's eyes .as soon as I said those words the guy in the black suit turned he had blue eyes and looks on which girls die.
I don't know how long he was staring at me. My knees felt week under his gaze. And then I saw a gun in his hand which just scared me to death. He left Jack's collar and was walking towards me my brain is surely gonna explode. Everything around me was spinning ,I'm going to faint. His next word's were -"I'm taking this girl with me. You give me my money I give you the girl back " he said looking at Jack. Just Then everything went black in front of my eyes...
