Chapter Seventeen

Emilia's POV:

So Thursday night went by fast, Ash did come over and he also brought over his gorgeously amazing girlfriend, Chloe. She is one amazing girl i tell you, she's currently studying being a dance teacher which i thought was cool. Chloe travels now and then for competitions but otherwise she's down here practicing for exams and what not.

Well now that it's a Friday morning and am currently in English, along with Phebs, while Avs has math. Friday morning's are taking forever especially since i have a very exciting weekend ahead of me and i honestly can't wait, now since it's my very first date and i don't even know what a date is like and oh gosh now i'm getting really nervous. Why am i getting nervous, i'm never nervous... is this what it feels like.

Calm down, breathe in...breath out.

"Emilia, would you mind reading paragraph two please." our English teacher asked me and great, choose me out of all people, kay then,

"Sure." i said a bored tone, 

After some people reading paragraphs of the book and answering some questions for the chapter the bell rang. I'm still nervous about tomorrow and i got Phebs bickering about the party but i got two things but i'm only nervous about the date but the party is still nerve racking since it is my first one. Is that normal? Who knows. 

Walking myself to photography... hang on a second isn't Jace in this class, yep. Looks like i'm not alone but maybe he can convince me out of being nervous, but thinking of this date makes my heart race faster and i don't know, what's happening to me? i haven't felt like this before like ever, all over one bad boy. Who am i kidding? My mind goes fuzzy, my heart races faster and my stomach has butterflies fluttering around like crazy. Dylan's doing this to me... the person who i thought i would never fall for but who am i kidding, he even said it himself the nerd falls for the bad boy and that nerd would be me. Right now my mind is fuzzy, my hearts racing and my stomach has butterflies fluttering, just thinking about him.

"Helloo? Emilia, you there?" a voice asked snapping me out of my trance and i hands waving in front of my face, which i push away,

I turn my head to the culprit, not surprised when i see Jace.

"Uh... yeah." i mumbled, 

A picture of a shirtless Dylan pops up in my head and i feel my cheeks redden, why now. I keep my head down so my hair curtains my face.

"You ok?" he asked with concern, i close my eyes to try blink the image away which it did,

"Yep. Totally." i said a tad to fast,

"Totally? Really are y.."

"Can you please stop asking that, i'm just really nervous about tomorrow." i blabbered out, stuttering abit and snapping my head up,

"Oh, i'm sure. It is your first date aye," he nudged my shoulder teasingly and my cheeks sure did heat up fully this time, damn him.

"Shut up." i said like a little kid. 

"Naw is little Emi..."

Before he could finish that sentence, i gave him death glares which seemed to shut him up. I pressed my lips together to form a straight line. It's going to be a long afternoon.

"Okay," the teacher clapped her hands in enthusiasm, "you are going to be given an assignment." Everyone groaned except for me, i always loved our assignments particularly for this class. "don't worry, it's a fun one. All you have to do is take three images of different places that you love as an individual. Easy right. Along with that, you have to choose one of them and tell me why it's your favorite place in five hundred words or more, which isn't long. It's a fun task and i'm hoping you all enjoy it."
