Monday, September 10, 2012.
It was the start of our first year in Uni. I woke up at 4am, too excited to sleep. Quickly, I texted my two best friends, Josh Devine and Elaine Horan. It took them a while to text me back, replying with a smart comment about how it was 4 in the morning. I shrugged it off and told them that I’d be ready at 7. Orientation would start at 9, but I wanted to be early, just in case.
7 rolled around and Josh was picking me up in front of my house. I hopped in the front seat and smiled at my best guy friend.
“Hey! How’s it going?” I said, a bit too cheery. He just glared at me.
“It’s 7 am. How’s it look like it’s going?” He shot back. I just smiled and looked away. “We have to pick up Elaine.” He finished. I nodded and texted my other best friend, telling her to be outside.
We pulled up in front of Elaine’s house and waited for her to come out. Soon enough, the door opened and Elaine skipped out of her house. Following behind her, was her brother, Niall Horan.
Niall and I go way back. We were best friends at one point and then we dated for a long time. We ended up breaking up, of course. But it didn’t end well.
“Did he really have to come?” I whispered to Elaine as she climbed into the car.
“Sorry.” She mouthed. “I didn’t have a choice.” Niall climbed into the back seat behind me and shot us a glare. He didn’t like Josh very much, and apparently had a big problem with me.
“Off to Uni.” Josh said. Too bad Niall was attending the same school. I glanced at him through the mirror and he rolled his eyes, peering out the window. When we arrived at the school, Josh and Elaine unpacked their things from the car and headed towards the building. I turned in my seat to face Niall.
“You know, you don’t have to be such a crab ass.” I said. He rolled his eyes again.
“Like I really like what you guys do? Please, I don’t trust my sister being around Josh. There’s something about him that I don’t like.” I scoffed.
“Josh is a good guy and happens to be your sister’s best friend. I think you can deal with it. Let’s go.” I finished, getting out and slamming my door. I ran to catch up with Josh and Elaine and entered the school.

A/N: Okay, so this is kinda new, based off a dream I had. I decided to make changes and add/take some things to make sense. I know Niall doesn't have a sister lol. But in my dream they did hahahahah. Feedback is welcomed. Thanks.!
