Laura's POV:
Hi! I'm Laura Marie Marano. 18 years old and I'm living with my parents (Ellen and Damiano Marano) and my sister (Vanessa Marano) I love them more than anything in the world.. Right now I'm in the mall shopping since it was Saturday and I always go shopping on saturdays. After shopping I went home.
"Mom! Dad! Vanessa! I'm home!!" I said. No response
"Mom?? Dad?? Vanessa??" I searched everywhere. None!! I sat on the couch and saw a note on the coffee table. Hmm must be from them. I pick it up and read it
Dear Laura,
Me, your dad, and Vanessa decided to have lunch together. We didn't invite you cause you probably ate when you were at the mall. We'll be back at 2pm. If you want to eat there's some pizza on the fridge. I love you honey ❤

I check the clock. 12:48.. What to do? What to do? I went to the kitchen and took the pizza on the fridge and heat it.. After that I sat on the couch and watch TV when someone called me
Laura: Hello??
???: Hi is this Ms. Laura Marano??
Laura: Yes.. May I know who's this??
???: I'm Officer Smith. I called to bring you a bad news
Laura: What is it??
I don't know why but I'm so nervous.
Officer Smith: I'm afraid your parents and sister got to a car accident. A drunk truck driver hit their car and unfortunately they didn't survive.. I'm sorry
For a minute there I feel that my life was over.. My family was gone and I wish that I was gone too. I felt tears streaming down my face
Officer Smith: Miss Marano?? Are you still there??
Laura: Y-yes
Officer Smith: If you have a chance please come to the police station
Laura: O-okay I'm on my w-way..
Then I hang up and went to the police station. I can't believe that my family is gone.. The only people that appreciates me, believes in me, and loves me. They're gone! When I reached the police station.
"Officer Smith??" I asked the tall man infront of me
"Yes I am Officer Smith. I asked you to come here because I have something to tell you.."
"And that is??" I asked hoping that its a good news
"Your parents said in their will that if they're gone you and Vanessa will have to live with your mom's bestfriend Stormie Lynch.." he said. Great I have to live with people I don't know! (sarcastic)
"When will I leave and where's their house??" I asked
"They live in California and you will leave tomorrow morning. Here's the plane ticket and a cab will be waiting outside the airport and take you to their house.." he said handing me the plane tickets (AN: Her family lives in New York)
"Thank you so much!!" I said and went home. I changed into my pjs and pack all my clothes and stuffs after packing I cried myself to sleep

I woke up to the sound of my alarm ringing I got out of bed and saw myself in the mirror. My eyes were red and puffy and my hair is a mess. I checked to the clock to see that its already 5:30.. Oh shit! My flight is 6:30 and the airport is a 20 minute drive so I have 40 minutes to get ready!! I grab my towel and went to the shower.. After that, I changed to a pink tank top, white jeans, black varsity jacket, pink vans and put my eyeglasses on. I grab my pink backpack and black luggage and went out. I guess my life in New York is over and my life in California is about to start.. I let out a sigh and drove to the airport. When I got there I immediately went to the airplane and take my seat. I put my earphones on and read a book
Stormie's POV:
As soon as I got the news that Ellen and Damiano are dead, I cried all night cause they're one of our closest friend and Mark just comforted me all night.. Today's Laura's arrival and I haven't told the boys and girl yet.
"Family Meeting!!!!" I shouted and they all went to the living room
"What's up mom??"
"Well the daughter of my bestfriend is going to live here because her parents died on a car accident" when I said that their serious faces turns to shock faces
"And I hope you'll treat her as a family..." Mark said and I nodded
"Finally!! A girl I can talk to!!!" Rydel said and we all give her a weird look
"What?? There are some things that I cant told mom.. And I'm sick of you guys playing around like idiots" She said
"Hey!!!" the boys said and me,Mark,and Rydel laugh when suddenly I heard a car beeping.
Rydel's POV:
Finally!! A girl in the house! And I'm not the only one who's gonna deal with Riker, Rocky, Ross, Ryland, and Ratli- Wait, where's Ratliff?? He's here a while ago with the boys but when mom called for a family meeting he's not there. Weird. Then suddenly, we all heard a car beeping..
"That must be her!!" mom said and my excitement grew a lot bigger!! Then someone rang the doorbell.. Mom opened it andddd..
"Hi you must be Laura!" mom said
"Yes.. And you must be Mrs. Lynch!" she said
"Yes I am come in. And please call me Stormie" mom said and she came in
"This is Riker the oldest followed by Rydel and Rocky then Ross and Ryland!!" mom said pointing on us
"Hi!!" she said.
"Hi I'm Rydel! I'm so glad to finally meet you!!" I said and hug her then she giggled.. I love her already!!!
Laura's POV:
When Rydel hugged me they introduce themselves to me then we heard someone talked
"Hey guys I was in the bathroom.. What are you do- Laura?!?"
"Ellington?!?" OMG!!! Ellington!!!
