*This chapter may seem a little familiar at some parts, only because in getting to the part where they start to leave*
Greg's POV
Today, I felt full of myself and smug. Yes, today was the day. I had decided to leave this God forsaken town, except two things were different this time.
I was definitely sure of both.
1. I was not coming back even if my life depended on it and
2. I was not leaving without her. This woman some how convinced me to go insane just at the thought of her. The fact was, if I was driven to distraction this much by the mere thought of some girl, than there obviously is a reason. Thank God.
I jumped on my bike and sped down the road, past the dump of buildings and straight to the Cafe. I parked on the side of the road and waited for her to finish her shift and take a break, which if I was correct would be in ten minutes. Before you make a stalker type of comment I know this because she told me that it was her usual time since we got more aquainted. I decided to get comfortable.
Andy's POV
I was kinda expecting him to just show up as usual this past week. But I think I'm going insane because I basically just wait for him. It might just be reality catching up to me after the whole abandonment happened and my body is actually feeling emotions, particularly loneliness. It's been a while since I was actually alone. I just gotta stay focused, five more minutes Andy, you got this!
Greg's POV
It's time. I hear the bell ring as she walks out.
"Hi babycakes." I said clearly to her. It took her a second to realize it was me. Also that she was the one I was talking to. Andy whipped around and saw me. "Ever wanted to leave this town?" She was now interested but gave me one of those "obviously" looks. Everyone wanted to get out of this load of crap town. I chuckled lightly.
"You want a ride, baby cakes?" She considered what I said for a moment, Andy spoke then," What do you get out of this?" I gave her a smirk.
"'S for me to know and for you to find out, don't worry baby cakes, nothing of actual value. You coming or not" I asked.
She glared a bit. I could tell I was appealing to her.
"Two conditions, No! Three! 1. What's your name? 2.We make a stop first. 3. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT call me baby cakes." I chuckled louder this time. I then stated," I can't make any promises about that, love, but I can definitely make a stop for you. The name's Greg."It finally dawned on me that through out this whole week I hadn't even mentioned who I am. Oh well, now she knows. What I wanted out of this was her love and nothing more. I offered her the helmet, she snatched it out of my hands and put it one. "Take it easy baby cakes. I got ya," I grinned at the visible blush on her face. She started to give me directions. After the stop I had to go over somethings with her before we left. It won't be the easiest but I'm hoping by the end of the day we're close to my current home.
