♥~Chapter Five~♥

She couldn't get him out of her head. No matter how hard she tried to think of something else, she was just flung back to him, and his smile.. Sarah felt like she was going mad. She loved Will so much, but these new feelings for Bailey were getting out of hand. She knew these feelings for him were growing stronger, and she kept trying to fight them off, but no matter how hard she tried to convince herself these feelings weren't real, the more she knew that was just a big lie.

Sarah was so frustrated. How could she choose? And what happens if she chooses one, and the other becomes so hurt? What if she makes the wrong choice and she ruins her relationship with one of them, or possibly even both? 

She sighed as she flopped down onto her bed. But she sat up as she heard her phone buzzing. She looked over and picked it to see who was calling. She tensed as she stared at the name. Bailey.

She inhaled slowly and picked up, holding the phone close to her ear.

"..Hello?"

"Sarah! Hey, I just wanted to ask if you're alright. You didn't come to practice or to feed Scarlet."

"Yea, I'm okay, I just.." She sighed, pausing trying to think of what to say. "If you don't want to talk about it, I can respect that. It's just that Will and I were a bit worried. And Scarlet seems a bit moody because you didn't come to see her." Sarah's eyes widened a bit and she smiled softly. "Don't worry, I'm fine, I just didn't feel well enough to come in today. Listen, I probably won't be back until next Monday. I'm just taking a quick break from riding to spend some time with my parents. All I have to ask you to do is to make sure Alma and Molly remember to feed Scarlet."

"Will do. But don't you think spending a whole week away is going to be good? You're gonna miss out on some practice, and Molly and Alma can't take care of Scarlet and Stardust forever. They have their own horses too, you know. But don't worry, I'll help them out."

"Thanks, Bailey, you're a great friend."

"Hehe! Yeah, anyways see you later, Sarah. Love you." Sarah suddenly choked on air as he murmured those two words. She realized Bailey hadn't meant to say that as he began sputtering out apologies. Once she got over those few seconds of shock, she giggled and wished him a good night. Once she hung up, Sarah let out a quiet squeal of glee as she tried hard to contain her joy.

She once again flopped onto her bed with the dopiest grin on her face. She knew she wasn't supposed to feel this way towards him, but she couldn't help it. She loved this feeling, and she knew she loved him.
