Will the scar in my past be finally mended...?
Will I have enough faith in myself to relive my dream...?
Day after day, she would watch me play on the field. whether we're just playing catch or practicing some swings, I would find her smiling at the audiences seat, exhilarated with my performance.
I'd practice for her everyday. I kept going and going, and going. Those days soon became months, and turned into a fruitful year.
And at the day of my Entrance exam in Yokohama University, I stood tall with all confidence. I promised by myself and Otome that I redeem myself back.
"Good luck Ryuuto-kun!" They were cheering me as I board the train. Naru, Mai, and Aunt Akiko, all of them helped mold me to become a better person.
I didn't mind sharing tears that day, because today I conquered sadness...I finally made myself happy...
The rest of my years was a goodbye, I found my dad, He is now working as a Enterpeuner in TIME magazine. I repay Aunt Akiko and Mai for their good deeds.
And I was married Otome for two years now...

Today wasn't like any other day. I was drafted in the Japanese pro-baseball league. It all started when scouts came to Yokohama and offered me to play in the professionals. My wife and I talked about resuming my career, and we agreed in an instant.
But I never knew our plans would change quickly after that talk...
"I think I still got it Naru?" I showed her a couple of my swings.
"You never seem to lose your edge! That's why I love you!" She replied, pushing her wheelchair towards me.
Naru was diagnosed with an illness. In times like this, all we got was each other, so I planned on giving up the offer and stay with her.
Ever since that day, she felt blue. I don't want her to feel that way...
---
"Go get them, Ryu!" Otome cheering me.
'I will, honey...!' The pressure was on!
Gregory, the store owner, wad in the second plate and Nakamura, a former player, was on third...
The batter hits it...!
I looked up the sky, finding where the ball went. I should be seeing it right now, yet all I can see is the scorching sun. I suddenly, I saw a glint of her smile, right before I catch it!
"We won!" Naru jumps out of her seat, celebrating a wonderful play!
The crowds went wild as a miracle occur. I could see how I brought happiness in their day, as our district won against the city's koshien team. I wiped my sweat and raised my fist, directing towards my wife.
"This is for you... I'll be okay now... Naru..."
It was my last game of the season, a wonderful farewell to the game I loved. Naru felt worse the following weeks and passed away. I was able to fulfill my promise to her, and I felt in peace.
I just need to keep moving forward and remember the good times...
