Jackson slowly became closer to me, and more annoying. Shadow hung out with us too, which was awesome. And she was my head guard!
Now, don't get the idea that I'm weak. I could knock someone out with a flick of my wrist. But I can't get in fights if I don't have my bandana. So that's why my life has changed for the better, now that Shadow is my head guard. I haven't worn my bandana all school year. But today I have to. I don't know how or why I know this, but today I had the feeling I was going to need it.
I put on my black one and threw on my black ripped jeans and a red shirt. I put on my red converses, and used a spell I learned to dye my lilac hair black. I pulled my hair into a high ponytail and set off for the day.
Yesssss! I have magic first period! It's super fun and the teacher is super nice. It's an added bonus that I have a lot of friends in my class. When I get there, Lexi runs up to me and grabs my arms.
"Akiko!" She squeals excitedly. "We get to learn how to make things float!"
I do a little jump.
"Yay!" I agree excitedly. "I can't wait!"
Shadow is talking to Jackson in the hall. He says something and she makes a face I've never seen before, then reverts back to her normal one.
Josie grabs my arms, her cat tail wrapped around her waist. She pulls me inside the class and we talk for a little. I sit between June and Callie, who are both insane.
