Introduction

"Whatever it is, he's gonna try to take us by surprise. We have to be ready for anything."

After those very words left Emily's mouth everything went sideways. Scratch in fact did have a plan to take the BAU by surprise and he had succeed in it.

Because right when they thought that they could beat him, catch him, take him down..they were wrong. For almost three years now chasing him-they still weren't able to do it. Even after their old unit chief and friend left because of Scratch they still couldn't catch him.

So now, with the idea set in mind of catching him after everything he's put them through, like kidnapping Tara's brother, stalking Aaron Hotchner, framing Spencer Reid for murder, causing a prison break, all of it just made the team members more motivated then ever to catch the bad guy.

But for that very fact, it made them oblivious to what was ahead for them. It made them miss the tire spikes that popped the wheels of their speeding SUV's. It made them get into such a horrible car crash that one of their own members didn't make it out alive.

This crash was so horrific that after it, it would take a long time to recover from it. I mean after everything these people have been through, another stresser was added onto these six members that are in these SUV's. Five of them at least would get to live through it.

When it hit realization to what had happened after Penelope Garcia and Matt Simmons had shown up to the scene, everyone was in shock.

Jennifer Jareau had blood dropping down her face from wounds, and she could hardly keep her eye open from it. Luke Alvez was surprisingly doing alright for being behind the wheel of one of the cars and he was starting to help out after getting out of a stage of shock.

David Rossi however was in clear signs of pain, he was limping and had blood dripping down his forehead as well, which wasn't a good sign. Penelope and Matt ran to him to help out, then ran to JJ.

Penelope was taking this horrific sight all in when Stephen Walker still in the backseat of one of the cars caught her eye. When she went to get closer she realized that he didn't make it through this.

While placing her hand on the window in sorrow, she began to let the tears she was holding in all down her cheeks and a cry left her mouth gently as she called out his name hoping that somehow he would be able to respond. She hadn't known him long, but that didn't mean that they still weren't friends and that she still didn't care for him.

She had been getting to be closer with Stephen, and they even began to discuss starting practices together for their instruments.

She thought it would be fun and it would be a great way to get to know the newest members better. But now? Now that wouldn't get to happen anymore.

Now, she had to hope and pray that her other friends would be okay. That Stephen's family would be okay to after his children found out their dad was dead. And to think only a few hours ago everything was okay. Derek was here, and Reid got out of jail finally. Everything fell apart so quickly it was unfair and it made Penelope feel some anger inside of her.

Why couldn't things go the way that we wanted them too? Why did something always have to go wrong every other day? Someone's life was always being affected by this job it didn't seem right.

Penelope was snapped out of her thoughts by JJ's crying from her head in pain, and she quickly ran over to her helping her again leaving Stephen even though she didn't want too.

It took a few more minutes of everyone being distracted and helping one another for them to realize that one of their own members was missing from this terrible scene. Their leader was gone from it. Emily prentiss was nowhere to be seen around the car pile up making everyone even more concerned now.

Where was she? Was she okay? Who had her?
A loss of words filled them all as more ambulances approached the scene.

A/N: Hi everyone! I know I need to finish my other stories but since I've been gone so long I thought I'd start something new, please let me know what you think of this idea I'm not sure if I'll continue it but I kinda like the idea of this so far. :)
