'Hi, I'm Miss Reale, it's nice to meet you all. I know you're probably thinking that I'm joking when I say I'm your teacher but believe me I'm not. I have recently graduated from college, I started high-school when I was 12 and am now teaching some middle-school classes and senior year high-school classes. I'm afraid I can only remember some of you through older brothers and sisters that I've met. So I'd like to do a quick introduction. And no Parker, you may not tell me about your 'equipment' and what you'd like to do with it. Capito?'
The class chorused yes, and I settled myself more comfortably as I waited for the first introduction.
'Petra Atkins' m voice rang out clearly as I waited for the girl to stand.
Petra was a abeautiful girl with short red hair in a pixie cut and large blue eyes.
'Hi, I'm Petra, it's nice to meet you. I'm a black belt in Taekwon-Do, I have two elder brothers and one younger sister, and I want to be a teacher when I grow up.' After the last statement she smiled shyly at me and plopped back down onto her seat with a sigh of relief.
'Brodie Davids'
Brodie stood up and I noticed how ripped he was, and how tall - he was well over 6ft.
'Hmm, guard or quarter back?' I inquired turning a curious gaze on him.
He smiled a genuine smile and went
'Guard - our pal Carters the quarter back. I have a son on the way with my girlfriend Liza and we're expecting in June, I have a feelin' I'm going to find English Lit. very amusing this year, and you're really pretty.'
He was blushing by the end of this, but smiling down at a beautiful young girl next to him, who had a prominent bump in her belly and was smiling at me.
'Thankyou Brodie - I've just realised something that I'll be giving a Baby Ruth bar to anyone else that has got it.' I looked around the room to find a girl with curly black hair smirking slightly, raising her arm.
'The jerkoff in the backrow isn't in our class.' She stated drily.
I smiled at her use of the word jerkoff.
'Correct Peyton, I always said you were quick. Parker, you're not on the register - leave now. And you have detention with Mrs. Squatter after school.'
Parker stood and looked at me before asking a question that amused me greatly.
'Is she correct because she called me a jerkoff or because she knew I wasn't in this class?'
I just glanced at him in disinterest, letting him determine his own answer and turned away continuing with introductions.
After the whole class had been introduced and had all wrote various sonnets in a typically Shakespearean manner, I turned to a voice that sounded like a pig squealing.
'Hum hum, there's has been a change of plan and It's parents evening tomorrow night.' With that Mrs. Squatter waddled off to go kill some plants or something.
Oh dear god. What had I left myself in for?
