"Wait, is this because of the incident?" I asked shocked and partially confused.

"Spot on." Wes Reece answered.

"So basically he's just using me to build him back up...?"

"Honey, you'll be using each other. You're going to help rebuild his picture and he will help you... well... you know..."

"For fame? Money?" I asked as he nodded. "No, I'm not doing it, I'm not that type of person. I already have a huge enough fan base Wes"

"Darling, I know I know, but this will help you expand and reach new areas!"

I just looked at him with a plastered 'No' on my face.

"Just think about it. Since you're releasing the EP very very soon, your fans are gonna go crazy and then they will go even more crazy when they find out about you and him! More people, means more fans and money!"

"Charlie, I'm not doing it for fame and money. I'm doing it for me and you know that." I paused. "Music is my only outlet. So I'm sorry, I'm not going to do it."

Wes took a moment to think.

"Uhh... How about you'll do this because you're a nice and loving person?"

"And lie to my fans?"

"They won't find out. We will all have to sign contracts to keep the secret."

I took a minute to think.

Yeah... no.

"Why can't they find someone else?" I scoffed.

"Well, his managers and agents really really insisted on you being the girl. I mean you do have a huge fan base, good music, and you're stuhnning!" Wes said with the last word louder than the rest.

"Thanks Wes." I laughed. 

Hmm.

Let's just get to know what the guy is like and then we'll decide if I'm a nice and loving person.

"So, tell me more about this guy." I asked leaning back into my seat.

"He's very very handsome,  he in a boyband, and he's an amazing singer just like you! Brunette,  brown eyes, tall... aw you guys would be perfect together!!"

"Yeah... I'm still not gonna do it." I laughed.

"Onto Plan B then."

"Plan B?"

"How about a proposal?"

"A proposal?"

"Three months. Only three months to help him out. Then you can be done... unless you fall for each other and want to make it a lifetime." He winked with a huge grin.

Three months can't be that bad right? Only 12 weeks. Less than 100 days.

"Blakely, he's gorgeous. Forget about what happened, one little thing doesn't define us."

Huh. Little.

"It seems like you like him more than me. Why don't you and him have a fake relationship?"

"Honey, he's not gay. Plus I am loyal to my beloved Ray." He smiled.

"Right... So what exactly am I going to be doing with him? Collabs?" I asked still confused on what I'm actually going to be doing.

"Well, you guys can do that too, but mainly, you and Mr. Marais are going to fake a relationship."

"You're kidding."
