Tried to write almost all the dialogues in Hindi. It's been long, didn't get to write in that aspect. So please excuse me, if something sounds wrong. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In Singhania Sadan, Naira was standing in a lonely corner, all by herself and thinking about what had happened a week ago at the party in Goenka Villa.
"Chori, tanne hi kuch kia hoga! Warna uss Kabeer ka ye majal, je thari sasural mein khade hoke ye kahe ki wo thare se pyaar karta hai. Wo thara Deewana itne dino tak thari peeche pada raha, tujhe pareshan karta raha aur tujhe kuch pata na chala?" she asked in an accusing tone.
"Haan wo thari Devar ka dost tha, uske shaadi mein aya tha, paar tanne uss Kabeer ya Kisi se bhi itni ghulne milne ki kya zaroorat hai! Aab toh samajhdar baan ja Chori. Thari shaadi ho gayi hai. Pati hai, Sasural hai, thari kitni zimedariyaan hai. Agar aise hi jaan bhujhke apne liye musibaat bolati rahegi, phir ek din pachtayegi zindagi mein." reprimanded Bua Dadi angrily.
Despite him, including Manish, Akhilesh and Shubham rebuking her, Bua Dadi's constant taunts and wrong accusations against Naira made Kartik extremely furious. He has had enough of her nonsensical blames. So, before she could start her biased sanskari lecture again, Kartik rudely cut her off "Dekhiye Bua Dadi, right now aap apna limit cross kaar rahi hai. Aap badi hai, Naira ki Bua Dadi hai, but iska matlab ye nehi mein apko meri Naira ki khilaf jo maan mein aye wo bolne dunga. Aur kuch galat toh bilkul bhi nehi." he told her with a warning. "Mujhe apse ye umeed nehi thi! Aap toh Naira ki Bua Dadi hai na aur usse bhi pehle ek aurat hai aap. Aap kaise meri Naira ke bade mein aise soch sakti hai!" he stated with pure disgust.
His wife, who was standing in between the protective hold of her father-in-law cum father and Chachu cum friend, he took a hold of her hand gently and pulled her closer to him. Interlocking her hand with his in a firm hold, Kartik made her stand beside him and assured her through his eyes. Then facing their families, especially Singhanias, he spoke curtly "Mujhe iss bare mein aur koi discussion nehi chahiye! It's my promise mein aap saab ko sach zaroor dikhaonga ki khot hamesha insan mein nehi aksar logo ki soch mein hoti hai. Bua Dadi, ye prove karne ki zaroorat toh nehi but apko ehsaas dila ke rahunga ki meri Sherni kabhi galat ho hi nehi sakti. Aur ye bhi ki hamesha ek ladki hi galat ho aisa koi rule nehi hai."
As they turned to leave for their room, Kartik noticed the change of emotions that played over his Dadi's face. His tone was grateful, yet firm "Aap sabka shukriya ki aap sabne aab tak humara itna saat diya. Naira ko hosla diya. Mujhe himmat di aur usse sambhal ne mein meri madat ki. Humare saath milke ek hoke situation se fight kia." "I hope aaj jo bhi hua, uski asar aap mein se kisipe bhi nehi hoga." he said the last sentence directly looking at Dadi. "Baki apki marzi. Kyunki mein chahoon bhi toh kisi ki galat soch ko nehi rok sakta." saying, he passed a sad smile and walked away with Naira .

Naira came out of her thoughts, as she heard her husband, talking to someone over the phone "Yes, Mr. Mehta! Aaj party Singhania Sadan mein hai because it's my Brother-in-law's birthday. I know it's not a business party, but please aap time par paunch jayega." After he hung up, Kartik looked at her and just blinked his eyes in assurance. As he approached closer to take her in his warm hug, he heard father, questioning him in a strict tone "Kartik, tum Mr. Mehta ko kyun itna insist kaar rahe ho ye party attend karne ke liye? In fact, tum unko bula hi kyun rahe ho? Yaad hai na last week party mein kia kya tha uss insan ne! Ye toh baas Keerti ke liye, warna hum khud iss party mein nehi aate!"

Immediately Naira's thoughts drifted back to last week again. "Wah, Mr. Goenka! Aap ki wife ki chahne-walo ki toh koi kami nehi hai! Last time apki Mehendi pe the aap hi ke ex brother-in-law, Aditya aur aaj ye apka chota Bhai ka dost. Bari kamal hai aap ki wife. Relax! Mein samajh sakta hoon apka ye gussa. Aare agar mein apki jagah hota toh mujhe bhi hota, akhir Biwi ka sawal hai."
