My Pov

I saw Tae's shocked face and was shocked too. I mean we're just friends but will his mom understand this? Is he even allowed to have female friends? I saw Tae running tome. „Fuck, what should we do, wait I have an Idea" he whispered.„Tell me" I replied. All he answered was „no need to". Then he went to the door and opened it. I moved a little bit to the side so she won't see me first.

Tae: „Hey mom, wow, you know how to surprise people!"

Tae's Mom: „Yes, I'm very excited to be here. I'll stay here until tomorrow midday then I'll travel on. Can I come in?"

Tae: „Eeeehmmm, well yes of course.

I didn't know what Tae was up to so I just stayed quiet. Then his mom came in and saw me. She looked at me with a surprised look but I saw excitement in her eyes.

Tae's mom: „Tae, who is this girl standing in your apartment? Did you keep secrets from me? Or is she just your housecleaner?"

Me: „Ok, I'm definitely not his housecleaner. I'm his f-..."

Tae: „Ooooh right, I wanted to tell you but actually WE wanted to surprise you..."

Did he just say „we"? Why did he interrupt me? Tae came to me and put his arm around my waist.

Tae: „Mom...This is my new girlfriend y/n.

Wait what? I didn't understand him right, did I? Did he just say I'm his girlfriend?I looked at him with my eyes wide open. „Eeehmmm what exactly did you just say?" I whispered. Tae hit me inconspicuous with the arm he had around my waist. It wasn't awkward, it was more awkward thatI didn't think it was awkward. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. It felt like it was normal. Ugh...I should really stop thinking like this. „Woooow, Taeee, I'm sooo proud of you. Finallyyy you found someonee. Sadly your dad didn't come with me but y/n will meet him too as soon as possible right?" she talked while smiling. „Yess, nice to meet you finally. Of course I will" I said with a fake smile on my lips. I was really overwhelmed with this situation so I just helped Tae with his stupid idea. „Are you living together?" she asked. „Eeeehm n-..." I wanted to say but Tae interrupted me again and said yes.

„Ok,I'll get the stuff out of the car downstairs. I'll be right back." When Tae's mom was gone we had to talk. „Look I'm sorry. I didn't...I was overwhelmed and I didn't know what to do so I just-..."

„It's fine, I'll help you I mean after all you did for me I can do something for you too" I interrupted him. Then Tae's mom came again. Tae went to help her with her suitcase and stuff. Then Tae went with his mom to the kitchen to make dinner. I sat on the couch and was on my phone. In such moments I wish I'd have a second friend to talk but I didn't. I was thinking about what happened and what I should do now, until Tae interrupted me and said that dinner was ready.

Tae's Pov

I was in the kitchen, making dinner with my mom. I didn't see her a long time ago so I was glad to see her. Even she had a bad timing. I felt bad for pulling y/n in this but I just had to do that. I didn't want to know what would've happen if I told my mom that she was just a friend. Suddenly my mom started asking questions. „How did you even meet?" she asked. I told her we met each other in school and I didn't even lie. „Did you already kiss?" she looked at me with a smile in her face. With this question I was overwhelmed so I just said „Yes, of course".„How long are you together?" „Almost 1 month" I replied.„Well she has a very pretty face. What do you love about her?" she asked. After she asked me this I had to think for a time. I actually didn't have to think long because I could be honest with that question. „She is the most heartwarming person I know, you know she is always happy. And she is rarely sad. I love her hair and her look, I just love her, you know...?" I said. My mom nodded and seemed very happy. When I said all these things a feeling came up in me that I never really felt before but it felt good. The dinner was ready so I went to y/n to tell her. I stood in front of the couch and told he rand then she looked at me. I suddenly got nervous when she looked at me and this feeling came up again. I shook my head to get it out again and made my mind clear. She looked at me with her big eyes and asked me if everything's okay. „I...I-..., uhh no it's nothing, thanks for your caring. Ok we have to play this as realistic as possible, ok?" She nodded and then we went to the dining room.

Dinner

My Pov

We were all sitting on the table.Me and Tae were sitting next to each other and his Mom across from us. We were eating as his mom said „You're cute together!"„Thanks" I said and looked at him with a smile that wasn't that fake anymore than before. „Did you think about your future? Like marriage or kids?" his mom asked. When I heard that I immediately choked up. I looked at him with big eyes and he looked at me very surprised. „Are you okay? Hehehehe" he said with a smile. „Yes, yes hahahaha" I answered with a fake smile on my lips again because I was not. I was not okay, of course not. Imagine you are sitting with your „friend" on a table, pretending you're a couple(what's bad enough) and then his mom is asking you if you thought about marrying him and having kids with him. NO OF COURSE I'M NOT OKAY. Suddenly Tae grabbed my hand, smiled at his mom and said: „Well we thought about it..." We did what? „But we decided to take our time and stay a couple for now" -"Yes, yesss" I agreed. Then we continued eating. „You're not talking that much, do you?" Tae's mom asked me, out of nowhere. „Well I'm still very surprised by this situation, hehehehe '>-< " I replied.

„What do you love about my little TaeTae?" she asked. Tae saw that I was a little bit overwhelmed by this question. „Mom, ser-..."

"No,it's okay, darling"I said and smiled at him. I started describing him honestly: „ He's always very honest. He's loving and very caring. He's gentle and really handsome. It seems like he's always kind and I really love his smile because it's so contagious. And when he looks at me I'm losing myself in his eyes. He is so funny and he is always making me laugh. He is also as childish as I am and thats why I love him" I almost had tears in my eyes when I said that. He looked like he was moved by what I said. „Thanks jagiya" he said and kissed my cheek. I tried to hide the heat in my cheeks behind my hands. Then we continued eating. Later Tae's mom went to bed and me and Tae were chilling on the couch while watching tv. I had to stay here because Tae told his mom that I was living here with him. „I have no stuff here, do I really have to stay here" I asked. A cold 'yes' made me stay on the couch. I noticed how Tae fell asleep and slowly his head moved on my shoulder. Because his head rested on my shoulder and I didn't want to wake him up I couldn't move that much. Then his head slipped down and landed on my lap. Now I couldn't move at all. I wanted to stand up but when I started to move he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me back. Now I was sitting on the couch again with Tae's head on my lap again. I wanted to prove if he's really awake. „Actually I hate you!" I said. Immediately he sat up „WHAT?" I had to laugh so hard and long. This was fun. His look was the best. „Of course not" I calmed him down „I just wanted to make sure you're awake, lol" When I was done with laughing it got quiet again. Then he put his head on my lap but this time his head wasn't looking in the direction of the tv, this time he looked right into my eyes. I started stroking his head and playing with his hair. „Are you just helping me so we're even again?" he asked. I stayed quiet but he triggered intense thinking, about our relationship/friendship, in me. „Are we only friends...?". I stayed quiet again. It was dark outside and not really warm. It was all quiet and there was only the light of the tv's screen. The Tv was quiet and it felt really uncomfortable. Before he asked this question I ignored these facts automatically. It didn't seem like he really asked me, it seemed like he was thinking out loud on purpose. I stopped playing with his hair and thought about that. It triggered me extremely. „Tae I think we should go to bed, it's already really late" I said, stood up and let his head fall rudely on the couch.
