Chapter 2

Zoe took me into town to buy something to wear.

"First step to a successful outfit - underwear," Zoe said.

I picked a hot pink lacy thong and matching bra.

Zoe chose a black tie up thong and matching bra.

We paid for our items and then headed to Topshop.

"Zo! This dress would look perfect on you!" I held up a black bodycon dress with chunky straps. It was quite short but didn't show much cleavage.

"Thanks babe!" she said.

I chose a couple of outfits to try on. A black bodycon dress with short lace sleeves. And a pair of black, skinny, high waisted disco pants with gold zips on the back pockets, with a low cut, floaty, cropped, cream top.

Zoe also chose another outfit to try on: a black, lacy strappy crop top with high waisted orange shorts (made out of cotton, not denim).

We went to the changing rooms.

In the end, I chose the disco pants and crop top, and Zoe chose the shorts and crop top.

We also went into Miss Selfridge, where I got a pair of chunky black heels, and Zoe got a pair of nude heels. I also got a black clutch.

We headed back to the car park, when we came across a couple of other shops, so we decided to nip in quickly. Zoe got a shoulder bag from Oasis (orange and nude). We got some jewellery from River Island as well - Zoe got a gold necklace and matching ring and I got a gold charm bracelet with a 'B' for Belle, a lipstick, a handbag and a high heel. We also nipped into Boots - I quickly got a TooFaced palette in Naked and my favourite Soap and Glory Eyeliner, whilst Zoe got a Stila smudgestick and an orange Clinique Chubby Stick (like she didn't own enough orange lipsticks already).

We got into Zoe's car, shoved our many bags into the boot, then went to Niomi's apartment to pick up Niomi, Tanya and Louise - all us girls were going to get ready together.
