Lucy's P.O.V
I look at Natsu and ask him "Are you sure everyone wants to save my mom?" He looks at me with concern and holds my hand as I blush. "If they don't, Me and Wendy will. Even if it kills me!" Natsu confirms. "Natsu?" "Hm?" "Your the best." I say as I smile. He smiles back.

Natsu's P.O.V

I had to make sure Lucy was confident. If I couldn't find Igneel, at least help Lucy. I look at her and without thinking, I kiss her.

Wait what?

Lucy's P.O.V
Natsu kisses me as I just return a kiss. It felt weird. "I....uh..." Natsu says to me. "Natsu....." I whisper to myself. He looks at me again as of asking me for permission this time. I nod in agreement.

He kisses me again as I kissed him back. Then he smirks and laughs. "Guess what I brought!" Natsu says. He holds two bottles of wine as I cheer. As I drink more and more my vision gets blurry....

Natsu's P.O.V
Lucy starts going crazy as I walk up to her. I mean I had wine too but she can't handle it. "Lucy? You okay? I can put you to bed if you want." I say to her. "Natsuuu I'm not tired!" She says back. "Lucy...your drunk and I can't keep ya like this!" I half yell.

"Pleaseee let me stay up?" "Lucy, it's not safe." She falls down and I run to catch her before she hits the floor. So I put her in bed and she whispers to me "Thanks Natsu"  

I nod as I smile. I leave and close the door as I listen and hear her crying.(Start song) I open the door again, seeing Lucy on the floor with a picture of her mom in her hand. "Mom...." I hear her whisper. "Lucy....? What's wrong?" I ask her. She looks at me for a moment and tackles me in a hug.

It kinda feels nice....

Lucy's P.O.V
Natsu closes the door but hears me crying and runs back in, hugging me back tight asking me what's wrong. However, I just hand him a letter I wrote for mom, for him to understand. His eyes light up gloomly as he finished reading it. "So that's why....your mom-" he says as he just stops himself. I smile sadly. "Why should you care? You have to find Igneel right? Why worry about me?" I say to him. He doesn't say anything as I lighten up. "I can teach you how to ballroom dance...." I say loud enough for him to hear. He mods and we start dancing and smile.

Natsu....Keep My Lucy safe. She told me about you and I hope you protect her~Layla Heartfillia

Me and Natsu spend a few minutes ballroom dancing. He's been stepping on my foot less lately. That's a sign. We start dancing around the house as we both laugh.
