"St- St- you mean?"

"Yeah that's me... Legendary Harry Styles" He says sarcastically.

Although I was terrified, I sat down between him and Louis. Lou put his arm around myself and smiled.

"That right there" says Zayn.

"That's why we all thought you were dating" he finishes. Lou quickly retracts his arm and I laugh.

"We've been friends for years." I reply " that would never happen"

"Actually" Louis says, sending a smirk at me

"Louis don't even that was first year when we just became friends"

"Tell us!" Niall whines, on his fifth pint and still not even buzzed. I roll my eyes and look at Louis.

"Fine but I'm telling it because you always lie about the way it happened"

"Whatever" he says

"Okay," I say, looking at the group of boys "so in first year, Lou and I met for the first time. The teacher, Mrs.Wisson I think" I say looking at Louis for reassurance

"Mrs. Wiston" he replies

"Okay Mrs.Wiston sat us across from each other and told me Louis could show me around the class when we were done with first lesson. Now naturally, I came from America at the age of three, so I still said some things with the American accent at that time although the Brit accent comes natural now. I was convinced his name was pronounced 'Lewis' rather than 'Louis' and so at the end of that class I told him I liked his name and he asked me to be his girlfriend whic-"

"Wrong" he stops me "you said 'oh, that's cool. I like your name, you're my boyfriend now.' You've been demanding your whole life Lace."

I roll my eyes "Fine, maybe it happened like that, but anyways it lasted till the next day when he stole my cookies from my lunchbox but we agreed to stay friends."

Harry laughs next to me and I instinctively move closer to Louis. He notices my uneasiness and puts an arm around my waist.

"It's okay." he whispers

"Shit" I hear him. I look up to see Ryan.

"Jesus Christ" I mutter

"Lacey are you serious? What happened to five minutes and dinner? You're coming home." he says.

I smile at Louis and stand up, as he does the same. He embraces me tightly and whispers good luck into my ear.

"Hurry Lacey." Ryan says "Reese is in the truck"

"Ry hold on a second I didn't tell you to come pick me up like some one year old" I say, as Niall gathers myself into his arms to give a tight hug.

Ryan rolls his eyes.

I pull Liam in and he laughs, hugging back

Zayn then stands up, holding his arms up and wiggling his fingers like a child would. I giggle and walk up to him in order to wrap my arms around himself and he sways for two seconds before letting go.

"Have fun with buzz kill love."

"He's my brother, Zayn." I laugh.

"Still."

I turn around to see Harry standing and Ryan looks up from is phone

"I'm going outside if you're going to take this lo-" he stops and his eyes widen

"Is that?"

"Calm down Ryan please."

"CALM DOWN ARE YOU KIDDING? YOURE MY BABY SISTER AND YOU'RE WITH HIM?"

"Chill mate." Harry says

"Chill? You expect me to chill? My little sister was just sitting next to a murderer who has defied the government so many times!"

"Was."

"What the fuck are you talking about Styles?"

"I was a murder. Was"

"Lacey fucking Rae get in the damned car now."

"Okay c'mon lets go Ry, it's no big deal. I love you. You know I wouldn't do that to you. You're my brother. Let's go." I say, rubbing his back. I send a quick half smile at Harry and walk out the door with Ryan. I spot the matte black Jeep with Reese in the front and wave, dragging Ryan along.

We get to the car and I notice I forgot my purse.

"Shit." I mumble.

"Hey Reese?" I say "would you mind watching Ry for a minute. I forgot my purse inside and he kinda freaked out in there?"

"No problem love." he says, flipping his golden curls

"Don't flirt with my sister Reese, I've had enough of that tonight" Ryan growls through clenched teeth. I roll my eyes and walk back inside, finding my way to the couch. Harry is the only one left along with Lou and my purse is right on the ground where I left it.

"Hey! How'd you get out of Ryan's headlock

"I'm not out. Reese is in the car watching him while they wait. I had to grab my purse." I motion to the black Louis bag on the floor Lou got me for Christmas as a joke because he thought it was funny.

"Oh." He simply replies.

I grab the bag and smile as I turn around.

"Okay, bye Lou." I say, bending down to awkwardly hug him.

I awkwardly smile at Harry and begin to walk away before someone grabs my arm.

"For Gods sake, give the man a hug, your fucking brother won't kill you." I roll my eyes at Louis and pull Harry up, giving him a quick hug.

"C'mon Lace just hug him don't be a baby"

"Dude do we look like a porn site to you?" Harry asks, causing me to laugh.

I was naturally uneasy around him for obvious reasons but my laugh was all real that time.

"Whatever Lou, the guys are waiting for me I have to go."

"Ten seconds. You guys have to hug for ten seconds then you can leave."

I pull Harry in knowing Louis is serious.

He wrapped his arms around me and we stood there awkwardly until Lou coughed

We quickly pull away and Louis laughs.

"You two have been there for thirty seconds." He chuckles

I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn to see Reese.

"Babe lets go."

"Yeah Reese just gimme a second." I reply, hugging Lou one more time.

"Love you be safe." he says as I pull away.

"Whatever your brothers freaking. I'm supposed to scare away this kid." Reese says, motioning to Harry "but quite frankly it's your life and although I love you, I don't care who you talk to but I'm done listening to Ryan so let's go"

I start to laugh as do the boys before I say a final goodbye and walk out with Reese.
