Layla's POV:
I have had a very boring summer but atleast i have escaped from school so thats a plus. I miss my friends especially Audrey, me and Audrey have been friends for 3 years and we live quite close so i couldve visited her but she was out of the state.
School starts tomorrow so I finally see her, i heard she was together with Maisie during the summer which is cool but i wouldve wanted to be with them too.
I do have a cold so i may have to miss the first day, it kind of depends on my parents if i can stay home. Im stuck in sweat pants and a messy bun with netflix so thats nice and i dont have to care about a summer body because its basically the end of summer.
next day...
I woke up to my alarm sounding like a god damn construction area, i no longer have my cold so i guess i have school. I went to take a shower, after the shower i took some black high-waisted jeans and a grey T-shirt, left my hair down and put on slight makeup to hide my freckles.
I normally walk to school but today i get driven so i can get there earlier.
Im close to school and i see audrey and Maisie with some girls and boys, lets say we are the popular group just not the "plastics" type. We dont make fun of others and we get good grades as well.
I run over to Audrey expecting for her to run to me and we do that kind of dramatic hug thingy but thats not what happened.
I ran over to her and hug her side because she didnt turn to me, i started getting confused but maybe she did not notice its me but right after i hugged her she looked at me and screamed " SEE LOOK I TOLD YOU! EWW".
