Mr.Arrogant & Miss Clumsy

I saw my dad heading towards the stage.
He started Speaking....
"Today is the most happiest day,my younger daughter Netra Singhania is getting engaged to my best friend Dev Raichand's son Rahul Raichand.  I am  to very glad to include my bestfriend
in my family officially."

All the guest started clapping.

"But I have one more announcement   to make the happiness double",he said in between the claps.
"My elder daughter Samaira..... he said looking at me.
I smiled at him....."will be getting engaged to my second best friend Anurag Kapoor's son Vansh Kapoor on Netra's and Rahul's wedding day......so cheers to everybody!"
Everyone started to cheer.

Wait,WTF!How can he do this to me?? He didn't even asked me.Dad you didn't did right.My eyes were brimmimg with tears.I tried to hold them back and ran fast as I could to my hotel room.

I threw myself on the bed and started crying. I wasn't able to handle this. "How can he do this to me,he didn't love me, he didn't care about my opinion??"
Just then there was a Knock at the door breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Who is it?"I shouted.

"Di(sis) everyone is calling you ring ceremony is going to start." My cousin Riya told.
"I'll be coming just give me 2 minutes."
I said trying to sound normal.I washedmy face,composed my
makeup and went down to the venue.

I saw my sister and Rahul exchanging rings. Then they called me for family photo but I declined them,I just needed my answers,but as my dear father was busy with guests,I couldn't ask him now and create a scene though I would love to create but it will also effect Netra's relationship.

Now it was time for dance so all couples made their way towards the dance floor,Netra and Rahul were the center of attraction .My father came towards me with Anurag uncle and his son.

"So Samaira why don't you and Vansh get to know each other,umm you both should also go for the dance."

I glared at my dad and he was aware of it.

Uncle also agreed with dad.

"No dad my legs are really very paining from contionuisly standing for hearing your SPEECH."I shot back with empathizing the word "speech".

He understood I wasn't going to listen to him so he just went with them.

I huffed and asked the waiter for water,from the corner of my eyes I can see him watching me.But I didn't dare to look at him.I just couldn't face him.

Suddenly Riya came "Sammu di(sis) common let's dance."Excitement was clearly visible in her eyes but I didn't wanted to so I rejected her.She at once understood it must be b'coz of the marriage announcement,she gave me a sympathetic look and went as everyone in the house knew no one could change dad's decision when he specially announced it in public.

I wasn't in mood of anything.I just needed to get out of this place.I don't know why but I looked at him and he was already looking at me while sipping his drink.
I broke the gaze and went past him as the exit door was near the bar counter.

But suddenly I was pulled to him.

"Tanishq, What are you doing?leave me!"
I said trying to get out from his grip.
He tightened his grip.
"Not so early, first let me congratulate you,finally you're getting married."He said in taunting way.

I looked at him,we shared an eyelock.I felt as if he was hurt.

Suddenly he placed his hand on my bare waist and pulled me closer.My breathing got hitched.There were many emotions running in his eyes.He leaned in,my heart was thumping loudly,he still have the same effect on me,because of our close proximity I instantly closed my eyes.Then he whispered, "Congralutaions WIFEY!"and left me.

I was standing there alone and then reality hit me I am still married to him,i still love him though we are not together, how can I marry another man?

I still remember the first when I met him.....

So it was the first chapter.
