Chp.27

Deyonn POV

Im really feeling some type of way about Rayray going out of town on her own, I mean I get that she needs time to herself but a week trip away from home ? Away from the kids ? Shit away from me? I'll have to see about making that shorter.

After I left the trap , I picked up Rayray and now we are at the airport sitting waiting for her plane number to be called.

"Rayray I really don't want you staying away too long from me and the kids , I mean I get you need time to yourself but a whole week ? Lets be reasonable."I said looking her in the eyes.

"Dee I need this. Honestly I just need to clear my head. I mean I'm not even sure if now is the best time to be getting married." She said looking at me then away.

"What'chu mean ? You Saying you don't want to marry me now?!" I said getting up standing over her.

"Dee I didn't say that and lower your voice !." She said low , while standing up looking around.

"Nawl fuck that ! I understand that you need to get your head straight but what does us getting married have to do with any of this ? This is really the time that we should be getting closer but instead you want to run away from your problems acting like a fucking child!" I said furiously.

"Running away !? I'm not running away from anyt-

"Flight number 234." Someone said thought the speaker.

"Look Deyonn I have to go. We can talk about this when I get back." She said grabbing her bags.

I took the bag from her hand.

"Yeah." I said walking to where the man was taking up the tickets.

She gave the man her ticket then grabbed her bag from my hand.

"I love you. I'll call you as soon as I land." She said hugging me then pecking my cheek.

She was about to walk off until I caught her hand.

"I love you too." I said pulling her back into a quick hug.

She pulled back then started to walk out the door towards the plane.

I waiting until I couldn't see her anymore then left.I went to the trap for a minute then left to picked up Adin and A'ubree.

"You hungry Desai ?" I asked him.

"No daddy me already ate." He said looking at me.

"Ok well go find you some pj's to put on , while I lay A'ubree down." I said getting off the couch and walk toward the stairs with sleeping A'ubree.

I walked to A'ubree room and laid her down gently, kissed her forehead then left out of the room cracking the door before going to the bathroom to run Adin bath water. Once it was full enough I called him and told him to get in. I washed his body off then got him out. I helped him put his clothes on and told him to go to bed.

"Daddy can I sleep with you?" He said looking up at me.

"Sure Desai." I said moving out of the doorway so he could enter the room.

He jumped on the bed and turned the tv on cartoon. I walked to our bathroom and took me a shower. When I got out I put my clothes on. I was about to get into bed until my phone started ringing. It was Rayray  faceTiming me.

"I told you I was going to tell you when I made it,... well I made it." She said flipping the camera so I could see the room.

"Tha-" I was interrupted by Adin .

"Mommyyyyyy !!" He said running over to me trying to get in the camera.

I picked him up and put him in the camera.

"Hey Adin " Rayray said smiling.

"What you doing mommy?" He asked.

"Nothing just got settled in the hotel, what you doing?" She asked.

"Me watching tv in you room because me sleeping with daddy." He said.

"Aww , well make sure you sleep at the bottom of the bed because you can't sleep on my side."She said jokingly.

"Me not sleeping at the bottom momma ! Me a big boy I sleep at the top with my Daddy" He said hugging me.

"Ok Adin you can sleep at the top like a big boy,now go watch tv so me and daddy can talk , I love you Desai." She said blowing him a kiss through the phone.

"Me love you too mommy." He said then I put him down.

"Dee I'm sorry I didn't mean to ups-

I cut her off.

"It's cool ma , enjoy yourself. Ill talk to you tomorrow,I know you're tired and I am too so goodnight. I love you." I said.

"I love you too Dee. Night." She said then I hung up.

                            End of FaceTime

I looked over at the bed and Adin  was laying on my side of the bed sleeping. I mean this kid just like his mom .He gone have to move today.

I walked over to him and looked at how peaceful he was sleeping and how much he resembles rayray. I'll let him make it tonight.

I walked over to rayray side of the bed and got in. As soon as I was getting comfortable I realized the light was still on.

"Fuck!" I said under my breath not wanting to get up but I did anyways.

I closed my eyes and realized the tv was still on. I sat up looking for the remote. I couldn't find it so I starting looking through the covers and heard  the remote hit the ground.

"Fuck it." I said laying back down on the pillow and going to sleep.
