WELL THEN

edwin's POV-

Everyone left to go eat and I feel as if im the only one who noticed what happened between Nevelyn and Zion. After im positive everyone is out of the house I make my way upstairs hearing the sobs get louder with every step. Zions a real idiot one second he loves a girl and the other hes breaking her. He leaves her broken in a crazy way no wonder storms are named after people. I heard something being thrown, glass. Nevelyn cries out in pain and i sprint making it to her door in seconds

"nevelyn can you please open the door?"

"edwin im not in the mood to bicker"

"neither am I. I know you want to talk about it"

"wow am I that pathetic?" she chuckles while opening the door

Her eyes are a dark purple, weird, they look sunken. It is obvious that she is in pain. She stares into my eyes tears welling up into hers. I immediately embrace her in a bear hug.

"Its okay he is a fool, nevelyn he isnt worth your tears"

"its just that i was actually falling for him and he goes and pulls this bull shit"

"zion doesnt know what he is doing, he has been hurt before and he promised he wouldnt fall for anyone, once he got feelings for you he lost it, he felt that he would be hurt again so he distanced himself he doesnt understand how to love yet he is loving you"

"you see ive been hurt too but i didnt go ahead and distance myself. I gave him a chance and he went ahead and broke down those walls. I tried to talk to him and I tried to talk to the girls. He wouldnt listen, querida was to busy fangirling over nick, and everest has her own life to live. Im everyones anchor but no one is there for me when i sink."

I was about to say something when we snap our heads to the left

"nevelyn?" 

"zion?"

"look nev-"

"nows not the time zion do you not see she is hurt talk to her tomorrow."

"but-"

"zion baby what are you waiting for?"

"YOU BROUGHT HER BACK? REALLY? you know what im done get out im sorry for wasting your time. im sorry for not being good enough. Im sorry for answering that stupid text."

"nevelyn what are you talking about its not like we had something. are you delusional?"

"Fuck you. Fuck this 'friendship' cause that shit was cursed."

"cursed? over? wow"

"leave"

"all i wanted to do is take back whats mine" he whispered 

"LEAVE!"

and with that he was gone with the 9 year old.

nevelyn fell to the floor having a breakdown.

"call querida......" she croaked out before passing out
