IN THE DEEP SNOW OF RUSSIA, in the back of a bunker, Ivessa and Ilona crouched down in hopes of not being seen.
"Get em', papa!" Ivessa encourages from behind him, not understanding the severity of the situation. He doesn't turn to face her, but he lifts a finger to his lips in reprimand.
There were lasers to the right, explosives to the left, and robots at every turn. They were everywhere. This fight was a mess. It was hard for the girls to stay quiet and still because of how much the car had been jumping and rocking.
A robot flew over to Natasha, humming loudly as if it were a cicada. Grunting, she kicked it out of her way while gracefully keeping her hands on the wheel. Ivessa stared in awe as Clint knocked an incoming robot out of his way, and Tony came to glide by them.
She had never been involved in any of the missions her parents conducted. She was young, too. She was younger than Zola was before she fled the red room. Even if the chaos freaked her out, she liked finally being involved in something so monumental.
To the left, a man loaded a gun and aimed it at Clint. Just in time, Thor came over to help.
"Upodatsky, sestra." Ilona reprimands. Ivessa was trying so hard to get a good look at what was happening. She was supposed to stay down and stay away, but it seemed like all she wanted to do was get close and stay that way. She had never gotten to be with her parents on one of their missions. It was interesting to her. For Ilona, it was very different. She hated the loud noises and she hated the environment. She happily stayed quiet in the corner as they had been told. calm down, sister.
