Y/n POV

You never liked waking up after being unconscious. Every time it had happened in the past you had woken up confused and delirious, having been moved to a different location. This time was no different. The only think that was different now was that you had no memory of where you had been or where you currently were.

Looking around at your surroundings you came to the conclusion that you were in a medbay of some sort, due to the nurses and the smell of cleanliness that medical centers usually have, that and the steady beeping that came from next to you, reminding you that you were alive. Noticing you were awake, a nurse with brown eyes and hair tied into a bun walked over to you and started to check your vitals. She smiled at you, revealing a small gap in her teeth, and said, "Hello there dear how are you feeling today?"

You frowned slightly. "I would be feeling better if I knew where I was and how I got here." You suddenly noticed the wires coming out of your arms and you frowned a little more. "What happened to me?"

Her warm brown eyes met your e/c ones. "We'll for starters, you're in a medical center on Starkiller base," that only confuses you more. Who kills stars? Better yet, what could have enough power to kill a star? "You were brought here by a passing by supply ship that was making its way here. As for what happened, I don't know the full story, but you were injured in some fight, hence the wound that was in your abdomen." She gestures to your stomach and you reached up to feel the bandages for yourself. They spread from the bottom of your torso to your ribs. You sighed. Being injured was never fun.

Looking back up at the nurse you realized you didn't know who she was. "What's your name? I don't know if you ever said. I'm y/n by the way. Y/n L/n."

She looked up, looking somewhat surprised that you actually cared. "I'm Emily Rhodes. Nice to properly meet you. " she smiled again.

"You as well." You said. So far your stay in this "Starkiller" Base haven't been so bad. In fact, you might even have a possible friend. Just then a door to your left burst open catching both you and Emily off guard. In walked a ginger man in all black. After looking around for a minute, he saw you and made his way over.

"Mind if I talk to our visitor here, Nurse Rhodes?" She frowned a little at not being able to finish checking and making sure you were okay, but nodded nonetheless and moved to a different area in the medbay.

Looking down at where you laid in the bed he reached his hand down to shake yours. This was slightly awkward for you, as you still had wires coming out of your arms. "General Hux of the First Order." He said. He must have been somewhat important here, as he spoke with an air of confidence.

"Y/n" you hesitated for a minute before asking, "what's the First Order? If you don't mind me asking, that is."

Hux looked at you in slight shock. Hadn't everyone heard of the First Order? I mean come on, they were only the most powerful military superpower in the galaxy. "I suppose you'll have to learn that first hand for now. Sooner than later you'll be able to make your way around. For now, however, I was wondering if you would answer some questions for me."

Somewhat disappointed in his answer for the organization he was apart of, you still agreed to answer some of his questions.

Seeming relieved at your cooperation, Hux started. "So y/n, care to tell me about how you came to be here in this state?" He guestered to your bandages figure.

You tried to think back to the last thing you remembered. "I was supposed to be there for a meeting, a peace treaty type thing. It was just supposed to be simple, get in, agree to the terms, and we wouldn't have any issues. Clearly I was wrong. Me and Mack got there and it was an ambush. They were just waiting for us. There was never supposed to be any peace apparently. I don't know what happened after that. I just remember being taken by surprise by one of the men there and next think I know, I woke up here with bandages keeping me together." You frowned not being able to remember more. You suddenly realize you didn't know where Mack was. He should have been there with you.

His next question came surprisingly quickly. "And Mack is...?"

You were confused that this was what he wanted to know about but you told him, "He's my best friend. We've known each other forever now."

"The peace treaty. What was it for?" Hux asked.

You sighed, tired, and closed your eyes. "We just wanted peace between our organizations. We were both just done fighting a battle that wasn't going anywhere. Clearly they had other methods for ending everything." You opened your eyes again and looked at hux, who looked lost in thought.

Hux started to say something but was then interrupted but a trooper dressed in all white armor. The trooper said that someone named Snoke wanted to talk to Hux. He looked at you with an apologetic expression and excused himself. Seeing that Hux was gone, Emily came back over to your side and continued checking your vitals.

Thinking back to the meeting you had just had and the unanswered questions you still had. Turning back to Emily you started. "What's the deal with that man? And whose Snoke?"

She smiled slightly at your tone. "That was general Hux. He keeps things running smooth around here. As for Snoke, he's the supreme leader. He's the one that's really in charge. Nothing happens without him knowing and commanding it."

"So why would Snoke want to talk to Hux?"

"That's not for me to know. I'm just a nurse here." She smiled at you,and raised her hands in defense. "Now anymore questions?" You shook your head. Not having any idea where to start for now. "Alright then. Get some more sleep. I'm guessing your gonna need it."

Not taking the time to worry about what she said you slowed your eyes once more and tried your best to get some rest. Emily was right. You were gonna need it.
