Orange Honey (NEW)

Wind

Wind cut through the trees like claws ripping through an enemy's fur, tearing leaves from the branches, and limbs from the trunks. Dozens of cats pushed against it, some falling over due to the harsh force. Some were carrying kits, and others were supporting the elders that needed it. The leader of Shadowclan, a silver she-cat, walked towards the middle of the large group. Three kits around four moons walked at her side, and one was clamped tightly in her jaws. A silver kit who very much resembled her mother walked on the right side of the leader, supported by a blue-gray tom kit. On the other side of her, stood a distinctly colored orange she-kit, her usually vibrant pelt muted by a layer of dust. The kit flicked her ears to rid them of the dirt clogging them and trudged onward. A few minutes passed before she finally looked up at her mother.

"Silverstar? Is Graykit going to be okay?" she meowed loudly, over the roaring wind. Her mother glanced down at her and squinted through tears that were filling her eyes.

"Just keep walking." she finally meowed back through the small, gray kit hanging limply in her mouth. Doing as she was told, the kit kept walking. She was soon distracted by a small golden she-kit walking next her.

"Whitestar! Whitestar where's Beigewhisker? Where is she?" The golden tom walking beside his daughter did not reply, only looked away, shushing his kit with his tail. The golden she-kit looked down, obviously distressed.

"Hey!" The orange kit yelled at her. The other looked up, staring ice blue eyes into her. "Don't worry. It'll be fine!" she finished. The golden she-kit smiled weakly as she crossed over a bit to walk next to the other.

"Thank you. I don't know where my mother is. I'm a bit scared." She looked down, obviously worried.

"You'll find her, I'm sure of it." The other replied. "I'm Orangekit, want to be friends?" The blue eyed cat looked up and smiled widely.

"I'm Honeykit! And yes, I'd like that."
