jaehyun arrived in seoul two days later at around six at night. he was met by his parents at the airport- who asked him why he made the suddenly visit back home- to which he dodged multiple times.

he had the slightest bit of anger pent up toward them- seeing as they were most likely the ones to report him in the first place- but he suppressed it, seeing as he didn't want to anger them even more.

he was offered to stay with donghyuck- who had been feeling pretty lonely without the company of his family. saying goodbye to some of his family- he borrowed one of the extra cars in the garage to drive to the younger boys house.

as he drove around the town he hadn't seen in ages- he felt years of memories fly by him. everything from the late nights in the park- to the walks down the starry trails- jaehyun missed it a lot. he just never knew it himself.

when he arrived at the apartment- it looked pretty run down and empty. paging the younger brother- he settled in, before donghyuck gave him all the background information. ❝all he ever asks for are cigarettes. im surprised he even asked for you in the first place.❞ he admitted.

❝do you even know why he takes so many cigarettes? i found it odd.❞ jaehyun asked, sipping at the tea he'd been given. ❝im not exactly sure- but i think it was to spite his father. he was the most terrible person- and even though he was addicted to so many other bad habits- he was so against smoking, that taeyong probably stated it to make him mad.❞

donghyuck shrugged, not sure if that was correct, but jaehyun just nodded. ❝that sounds quite reasonable... now, is he even awake? when are we going to visit him?❞ the boy asked, to which donghyuck started cleaning up the kitchen, ❝he's awake, and visiting hours are from six to nine tomorrow.❞

jaehyun hummed in response, too many emotions tugging at his heart to form a true sentence.
