In the Beginning

"Haley come down stairs now!", shouted her mother as she took a sip of her beer and smoked a cigaret. Haley trudged down stairs with her phone in her hand texting her best friend jake. "Yes mother?". "Who's pills are these? I found them in your lunch bag". Haley groaned and put her phone down when ever she wants to lie she has to look her mother straight in the eyes. "They are Stephens, he left them in there today because he needed a place to store them." Her mom straightened up and glared at her. Then Haley took her lunch bag and went up stairs to hide the pills in her back pack, because her mom never looks in there. Damn I should of thought of a more believable story, Haley thought to herself. So she flipped over and texted Jake

Her-hey wsp?

Him- Nm just chillin here alone again my mom went out.

Her- I can't stand to see you like that u should come over!

Him- I'm on my way, I'll sneak in the usual way.

Her mom banged on her door, Haley dropped her phone, she thinks to herself here we go again...

-10 min later-

Haley lays there with her hand on her cheek and her body curled up in a ball. Jake came up her side window and when he got into her room he locked her door. Then he came over to her "What the fuck happened?, was it that bitch of a mom? Or was it her boyfriend?" Haley just laid there in pain. She's groaning and whimpering everywhere jake touches her. So he picks her up and lays her on the bed. Then he himself goes up to her and cradles her in his arms. "It's okay, you don't have to tell me". Then Haley starts bawling in his arms. "I don't get it, why does she have to be drunk as hell and bring her emotions out on me? I mean it's not my fault that she can't hold steady relationship!" "So there is alcohol involved, you know we could run off together. And just live free from all this bullshit".

"I know, but I don't want to leave my mom in this environment, she will go insane if I leave I'm all she has left". With that jake got up and turned off the lights, then climbed back in bed with Haley and snuggled her up.
