Real story
After the incident of their parents, the both of them were captured by slave traders... tortured them, broke their minds and especially treat them like rats. Lee Min Hyun was hurt so badly while Sakura was raped by the evil mafia... all day and night, Sakura laughs in her sleep, and she saw many illusions the both of them wanted to go home.
The both of them tries to escape one of the guatrds saw them escaping but little Sakura didnt know her mistake she killed a guard all the sudden without notice and laughed maniacly, her twin brother was shocked... after that, Lee and Sakura decided to kill the evil mafia in his sleep... their minds were crazy so they left that evil place for slaves, while Sakura almosts went out of the gates. Lee burnt that building, leaving the children dead.
So many years of looking for their parents and their childhood friends they become a killer of the feared ones, that lasts until their uncle found them, get them to safety... and comforts them at last, after that incident, they live a normal life as students, but they were bored in their life... then they discovered thst their parents were Phantom Thieves and its their job to steal the treasures, whether theyre illusions or miracles, they will do it even if it costs their life to find their missing friend.

How'd they got different eyes?
Duering on-heist... they were almost caught by the police but... a fox lead them into the forest... they went into the mysterious shrine, when they entered... they saw a goddess of foxes, they grant them the fox powers however... Sakura got witch power of illusions while Lee has a legendary fox sword, to summon the 9 tails blue fox, the goddess changed their color eyes into yellow-blue and they can summon it for emergencies only. After they left... the shrine disappeared
