Selena's POV

I finally put the last box in my room. I can't believe that I moved to New Orleans from California. I was excited cause my ex was here and we tried to have a long distance relationship. Didn't work out like we thought, but when he heard I was moving here cause of my dads promotion we could be together again.

 Then my dad asked what I wanted for dinner. "I want Chinese food please", I yelled from the top of the stairs. "OK", he yelled back. I heard our door slam and the car pulled out of the driveway. I started to unpack my clothes to my closet until I heard the door open. I went out of my room to see if my dad was back already.

I heard a blood curling scream in the middle of the living room. The doorbell rang and there stood my new neighbors. I saw the fear in their eyes. "Are you ok", asked Isabella, "Yes","Do you know who screamed", I asked. "Ask your dad when he gets home, ok", "OK Mrs. Mara".

10 minutes later my father still hasn't come back so i texted him

ME: HEY DAD I WAS WONDERING IF U NEW OUR HOUSES HISTORY?????

DAD: YA, A BOY NAMED JUSTIN WAS KILLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT BY HIS PARENTS. WHY R U ASKING HONEY?

ME: CAUSE 5 MINUTES AFTER U LFT SOMEONE SCREAMED IN THE HOUSE AN OUR NEIGHBORS CAME AN TLD ME TO ASK U INSTEAD.

DAD: YA HE SCREAMS WHENEVER A NEW FAMILY MOVES IN. HE WAS KILLED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LIVING ROOM. IS THT WHERE U FELT A SAD PRESANCE?

ME:YA ALRIGHT SEE U IN A FEW AND TELL ME EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE K?

I giggled at the last text my father sent me. I was gonna have the text talk with him again.
