June and July pass with moving from place to place to do concerts. The last day of August concerts comes. Shay and Tony are still going out, Alex is still being.. well, Alex. I sigh and watch as the concert preparations begin. Every time Vic passes me, he smiles like he has a secret. I wonder why he's doing that. I shrug and sit down, trying to call Seth again. I get his voicemail. "Hey. it's me again. why aren't you answering any of my calls?"
I hang up and sigh. When night comes, the concert will start in about half an hour. Vic is nowhere to be seen and I want to ask him what he's been smiling about. I sigh and get backstage as the concert begins. "Introducing Pierce The Veil, introducing their first song, Kissing In Cars."
I couldn't help but fangirl. I've loved Kissing in Cars when I was 12 and I still love it. The song begins and a melodic voice begins singing. Instantly I realize, that's not Vic. I peer out the curtains and look towards the mic. Vic is standing by it, playing his guitar but he isn't singing. I see a person next to him and Vic turns around and sees me. He sets down his guitar and runs over to me and grabs my hand. "Come on!" He shouts over the music.
"No!"
"Yes! come on!!"
I groan loudly and follow him across the stage. We walk back to the mic and I hear the voice. I've only heard Seth singing once, but it sounds just like him. "She was always the one. I'll repeat it again, the ONE."
I gasp. "Seth!!!" I squealed.
I throw my arms around his neck and kiss his cheek. He hold me by his side and continues the song, handing the mic off to Vic. Seth kisses me and begins singing with Vic. He nudges me and I join in, singing softly.
Then Seth and I walk backstage as the concert continues. "How'd you get here?!"
"Well, Vic found your phone and got my number. He called me and asked what your favorite song was. I told him, and he asked me to come but not to tell you. I came and he asked me if I wanted to sing 'Kissing in Cars' for you."
"Omg omg!" I squealed and kisses him.
We stood side by side as the concert came to an end. I ran up to Vic and I throw my arms around him "Thank you!!!"
He chuckles. "I thought it would make you feel better. You seemed homesick."
I giggle and kiss his cheek. "Well, thank you."
Seth pulls me into his arms an hugs me again. Then I turn to Shay, Alex an the rest of the band members. "You all knew about this?"
They nod in unison. I roll my eyes jokingly. Tony and Shay smile, standing hand in hand. I smile at them and hug Shay then fist bump Tony. "Thanks. For everything." I say softly.
Vic walks over and stands in front of the group. "This is the end of our summer tour, everybody."
We all sigh dramatically then laugh. "It's been fun. You sure you guys want to go home?"
Shay, Alex, Seth and I exchange glances. Shay steps forward, "I, personally, want to stay with you guys."
Tony grabs her hand. "And I want you to stay with us."
Alex looks at me. "I want to stay too...."
"I'm not stopping you." I say quietly. "You guys will always be in my heart."
Alex fist bumps me and stands by Shay and Tony. Vic looks at me. "Then that just leaves you."
I look at them all then look at Seth. I lean to whisper in his ear, "What if I go with them?"
He whispers back, "I'll go anywhere you go.."
I smile and kiss his cheek then hold up our hands clasped together. "WE will come."
Vic looks at me and Seth. "Are you sure?"
Shay, Alex, and I all agree and Seth agrees softly. "Then let's get on the road."
