The pancake flips as I toss it off the frying pan. The scent of this breakfast food fills the flat as my roommates still sleep.

The reason we are here is because my foster mother was keeping vital information from me. The very reason why I have trust issues. My brother was willing to get away with me. My accent still here even though I have been living in Canada for many years.

Coming out of his slumber, my lazy brother James tosses clothes off of the couch and fits him self in. His morning breath hits me even though I'm across the room. "We live in a first world country with water and you can't bring your self to brush your teeth?" Sun pours through the window and illuminates his face making his grey eyes bright.

I blindly put my fist on what I thought was a counter top. and slightly burnt my hand on the hot stove. James looked when I sucked in a breath of pain and many profanities slipped from my mouth. At least Zachary wasn't awake. "let me see" James said with his discussing breath. "your not seeing anything until you brush your teeth, doesn't you mouth taste horrid?" the sad part it he is 22 and still doesn't know to brush his teeth in the morning. Oh shoot, it's 8:00!

I speed walk to the Lou and run my hand under cold water. My eyes dart to the mirror. My long black hair is marley twisted then unraveled to become curly and goes just past my shoulder blade. My skin is a very light brown. And my eyes are about medium sized and look like they belong to an Asian person. I think I am a ligit height at 5:4.

we have no polysporn, now I have to buy some.

James pushed himself informing of me and quickly brushed his teeth then went to wake up Zach. Zach is my child. the father is from one of them Indian countries. His hair is curly and his facial features are like mine. He has that Indian look but then he looks African as well.his school starts at 8:30, it's 8:10. I put a bandage on the burn so that when I get the polysporn I just take the bandage off. James is changing out of his pj's and a cute little boy is sitting down eating some pancakes. He deserves so much better.

He was dressed and groomed and put his plate in the sink and walked away.

Great. "Zach. are you going to wash the plate?" I say stepping closer to him. He gave me a challenging smile, eyes having a mysterious glint behind them. Just like his father. "were going to be late for school! I don't want to miss school." he said. blinking insolently like I don't know what he is doing. " it takes two minutes to do it and you not leaving till its done." I hate having to be so stern but he could just wash the plate. he sighed and went to the sink to go wash the plate.

I start to head out to the subway because the only buildings here are for living in. James is walking Zach to school today. The late summer wind blows onto my face as I head to the bus stop. The bus came fairly quickly even though I'm in no rrush the ride to the subway is about half an hour and my eyes are already dropping. Ill pick up a coffe on the way and buy something for James and Zach too. It's been a good wail since they got something.
