The School Fic

It was the beginning of the year, at least, the school year anyway.

There were many kids and teens going back to the schools from which they came. Some had moved and some had graduated. Around this time, popular trends kept rising, including Fortnite and the terms "skee yee" and "lit".

In the past year or so, the LGBT+ finally got their rights. After that, many people joined its ranks. Its popularity rose and is now higher than it ever was!

Some people are obviously against it, fighting for gay marriage to be legal and so forth. The young teens see their chance to be the same as well.

In a school, somewhere in the southeastern quadrant in the U.S, there were two girls. Both of them are quite unique, and are pretty cool to their emo crowd.

One of them is Tessa, an average girl with short hair and a nice attitude. Her body has nice, tiny curves that complements her face. Tessa has pretty eyes, and a remarkable smile.

Katelyn, the other female, is a little curvier than Tessa, and is slightly more nerdier, too. Katelyn has read the whole Harry Potter series and is a big fan of Dan and Phil, two amazing Youtubers.

Both girls are friends, and have been friends for the past few years. They are both in the 9th grade now, and have experimented with each other before. Katelyn is officially straight, while Tessa is just a little... bent.

One day, in one of their classes, there was a boy named James. He was just as dirty-minded as them, and they liked it. He used to be friends with them a year or two ago, but they lost touch. He decided this day was the day they became friends again.

The teacher of their fourth period made them play Monopoly everyday, and James decided to play with them. They made jokes about the Phandom and about their strange, emo lives.

James developed a crush. It became stronger after a few days, and his body language should have hinted at his feelings. In truth, he liked both of them. For some reason, James felt that he had a stronger connection with Tessa than Katelyn.

A few days ago, James didn't even realize that the bond between these two girls were growing fast. This wasn't the beginning of the school year, oh no, there was only 3 weeks left of their freashmen year.

Katelyn started going over to Tessa's house a few times a week. Whenever someone asked Katelyn why she kept going to Tessa's house, she merely said she liked petting Tessa's cats, and no one suspected them doing anything else.

The first time it happened, they were just watching a movie. Neither one of them really knew what made it happen, it just happened. The scene in the Hunger Games, right around the beginning of the movie, when Effie said, "Let the games be ever in your favor!"

After that moment, Tessa jokingly said, "I wonder what kind of games they're going to play" with a sexy smirk.

"It involves hunger, so you know it has some delicious food," Kateyln said with a wink.

They both laughed, just as they usually do. The movie continued on, and the girls sat beside each other, neither wanting to leave the other's side.

The good part when Katniss kisses Peeta and recieves the broth, Tessa grabbed on Katelyn's hand, and they held each other's hand for the rest of the movie. Neither one of them mentioned it to each other, but secretly enjoyed it, and want more.
