Finn woke up a few hours later. He opened his eyes slowly, trying to adjust to the bright lights of the room. Nobody else was there, so he had time to gather his thoughts and identify his surroundings. He was lying in a small white bed in a room covered in little machines. He assumed he had to be in the Hospital Bay, especially after the chaos of Ebony and Magnus's betrayal. He had large bandages wrapped around his left forearm, his left shoulder, and his right shoulder; he couldn't remember why they were there. The tight wrappings caused the wounds to throb slightly. Finn jumped as the door opened suddenly.

"Woah!" Alexis said, frightened by Finn's quick movement, "it's alright!"

"Sorry," Finn said, "I'm a little on edge."

"Really?" Alexis responded sarcastically, and laughed at her own joke, but Finn stayed quiet.

"How long have I been out?"

"Oh," Alexis glanced at her watch, "three hours. You can be a real drama queen when it comes to fainting."

Finn shrugged her off, choosing to ignore her comment. He slowly began to get out of the bed with Alexis's help. Once they had got out of the room, Alexis guided the pair to the conference room in the southern point of the headquarters. They opened the doors to a meeting in progress; HD was giving a status report on what had just happened hours before. Almost everyone was there; the only two missing were Ebony and Magnus. When she saw the pair entered, she paused, gave a small smile, and went back to her presentation. The two sat in the back next to Joey, who was comforting Veronica over the loss of Magnus. Finn eyed the two, and then looked at back near the front.

"So far, it looks like their only goal was to escape," HD continued, "They aren't in Miami anymore. The two checked in at a private airport near West Palm Beach for a 4:20 one-way flight to Atlantic City."

Alexis and Joey chuckled quietly. Phil sighed loudly. HD shot the two a glare, and resumed the report.

"Four days from now we are going to investigate the airport and then move the S.O.P.H. Squad out to New Jersey. Phil is going to lead the operation. That's all for now."

The room burst into conversation. Finn talked with Alexis, Joey, and Veronica for awhile, before moving on to talk to Phil, who was as giddy a high schooler who had just gotten into the All-State Choir. The room began to slowly empty out, until it was just the Phil, Finn, and HD. Phil and Finn began to leave, but HD stopped them quickly.

"Phil," HD said. "Can I have a moment with Agent Bemerick, please?"

"Of course," Phil said, confused at first before returning to his overjoyous nature. HD smiled and closed the door behind him.

"First off, I'd like to congratulate you," HD put a hand on Finn's shoulder, showing that she truly meant it.

"Discovering another spy's cover, especially two in one day, that is truly amazing." Finn gave a small smile and thanked her lightly. HD let her smile drop as her face became more serious.

"A lot has happened for you in the past couple of days, so you don't have to go to New Jersey if you need a break."

Without any hesitation, Finn said, "No."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," Finn said, opening the door, "I'll be alright." He left without another word.

The drizzle was falling lightly as the casket was lowered into the grave. Sonya and Finn were holding each other's hands so tightly that they turned white at the knuckles. Alexis, Joey, and Veronica were standing behind them with Phil and Scarlet following. The rest of the agency was scattered around the group, with black umbrellas shielding them from the light downfall. Once the casket had been lowered completely, the crowd began to murmur. One by one, people gave their condolences to Sonya and Finn before walking to their cars and leaving.
