The Blackroom Mansion

Chapter 1

Benny and I have been best friends since the first grade. We are both now 17 years old and about to go off to college. While we were on our way to school I saw something that caught my eye.... I then ran up to what I saw.

There stood an abandoned mansion... " I have a bad feeling about this place Bella", said Benny. I gave Benny a smirk and yelled " Stop being a damn baby and get up here!". I started up the stairs to the door when my phone rang.

I had a message " It's from Sarah she needs us". I heard him mumble "Yes" under his breathe and I laughed " you're not getting away that easy". When we got to school Sarah ran up to me and started rambling on about a boy as always. I just sat there and nodded while she kept talking. Finally the bell rang!

All I could think about all day was the mansion. I didn't know what it was about it but I had to go back. I couldn't stay away from it.

When it was lunch I ran up to Benny and told him I was going back with or without him. He didn't want to go and I knew it I should've listened to him. "I'm not letting you go alone", he said. "Yaaaaay" I screamed. And everyone was staring at me so I sat down to eat my lunch.

When I got home I was really anxious and impatient. Finally my parents went to bed and I called Ben. He came and we went straight to the mansion.....

When we pulled up to the mansion I can see the freight on Benny's face. " If you don't want to go in you don't have to you can just sit in the car if you want.." I said. I didn't want him to sit in the car but I also didn't want to force him to do anything.

"No, I know this is important to you... I'll go in", he said. We then got out of the car and I sprinted up the stairs. I hid so Ben couldn't find me. I thought I could scare the freight right out of him.

I could see him trying to turn on his flash light but he couldn't because I took the batteries out.  " Bella where are you, this isn't funny" he said. You could hear the scare in his voice. He starts up the stairs. I'm hiding in the fireplace. When Ben walks by I swiftly grab his leg. "AHHH" he screamed. I couldn't help but start laughing. He had the most girliest scream ever.

Ben was mad but I gave him a hug and apologized. I handed him his batteries and we started to explore. We went through the living room it was so beautiful. The house was still full of old antique furniture and sculptures. These people must have been rich.

We went through a few more rooms until I started to feel sick. Ben brought be home and then everything changed.
