Hey, readers. It's been a while since I've last updated this. I think around 3 years actually. I've been doing some writing on my own on a different site and I think that I've improved a lot since then. This first chapter might seem a bit different than my usual storyline, but I thought this was better than my original.

I worked hard on this and I hope you guys love it as much as I loved writing this. I'm going to publish this on my other account on FanFiction.Net. If you guys are interested, check me out my user name is mickey0107. You might enjoy some of the books I write on there too.

Here are some updates to the story:

Danny is not immediately the ghost king in this. He will accept his position overtime and I felt this would be a good implement into the story. Next, Danny and Sam are not together. They might or they might not me. If you have anyone you wish to nomination please leave a comment. Danny will still have all his powers and will grow as time moves on. Danny will act a bit OC, but it's still going to be Danny if that makes sense.

Well I have nothing more to say than thank you for being such faithful readers.

Comment, vote, love it

Danny sighed as he stared at his clock on his bed stand. It was only a quarter past five in the morning and he hadn't had a wink of sleep. It wasn't that he had a hard time thinking, but rather he wasn't sleepy. He turned over in his bed and looked to the ceiling. It had been decorated as the night sky with twinkling stars. Oh, he had remembered it was a birthday present from Clockwork who had asked Nocturn to charm it into the night sky.

"The Little Dipper, the Big Dipper, Orion's Belt..." Danny named each of the constellations in a silent voice. He smiled gently as he watched his ceiling for a couple of minutes before sighing, and pulling off the covers. He quietly got out of bed and walked over to the mirror on the other side of the room. He looked at himself in the mirror.

He was just wearing some long pajama bottoms with his upper body bare. Then his eyes drifted over to one of the many pictures stuck to the frame of his mirror. It was a picture of him and his best friends, Sam and Tucker. It had been the first day of high school and it was quite nostalgic to see himself back then. Danny had changed from that insecure small boy from 3 years ago.

He had grown to an impressive 6'1" which was taller than any of his other peers such as Dash or Kwan. He also gained weight due to the increase of muscle mass. He had trained his body in order to fight ghosts more effectively. His chest became more broad and his abs became more defined and taut. All his baby fat had rendered away leaving a chiseled jaw on a very handsome face.

Danny couldn't help but let his eyes drift a wander to a new recent photo. It was quite large since it had a lot of people in it, but it was safe to say that his family did grow larger since back then. Enemies had become close aids and good friends had come even closer. Though he couldn't say that his life was normally perfect, he could say that it was perfect in its own way.

The sun glinted off the mirror quickly taking Danny out of his thoughts of years prior. He smiled as he allowed a glowing white ring to take shape around his torso and spilt into two traveling in different directions vertically. After the white rings passed certain places, a different outfit took place and soon the hero of Amity Park, Danny Phantom.

Phantom turned intangible and flew through the roof of his home and into the morning sky. The air was cool and crisp which felt good on Phantom's face. He looked towards the sun rise and hovered in the air staring at it. It was a wondrous sight that grew better the longer one stared at it.
