2. FACING THE FEAR

[10:00 AM] BTS PRACTISE ROOM

Jimin walked into bts' practice room and saw the guys practicing.

"You're late" Namjoon said frustratingly. Honestly, this is almost the 20th time he has said this .Truly I had been coming late to practice these past few days. The marriage news was taking its toll on me.

'Ne.' I said, which I immediately regret as hyung's anger burst open.

'That's all? You've been doing this for days and you're slowing down our progress and all you say is ne?

'I'm sorry' I muttered

'Do you realise our comeback is just in two months. Do you want to ruin all the members have been working for?

'You're talking like you can't do a single thing without me. Just go ahead and do your thing like you always do.'

'Jiminah' I heard Yoongi hyung say as he was shocked I say that.

Before I knew it, I had gotten a punch from Namjoon. I landed on the floor with bloody lips. Thankfully the members quickly got him off me before he could hit me again. The maknaes just watched with their mouths opened as they just witnessed what just transpired between us. Namjoon was so angry and it was my fault.

'Thanks for the punch. I needed that' I said as I walked out.

HEEJIN'S POV

I dressed up to go to meet my friend Mino. We have been friends for a very long time. Though he had feelings for me and I knew it, he never confessed and I'm glad he didn't coz I didn't return it. I planned to tell him about the marriage stuff today.

30 MINS LATER

I stop in front of the coffee shop we were supposed to meet. A part of me wanted to go back home 'Aish, I can't do this.' It'd break his heart to hear I'm engaged. But I still have to do this.

'Heejinah.' I heard him call out my name. He was already seated in the shop and waving for me to come in. I went inside and sat opposite him.

'You're looking gorgeous today.' he complimented.

'Eyy... stop it. I'm just wearing sweater and pants'

'I'm not blind. You're still gorgeous.'

We ordered coffee.

'I'm so happy to see you. What's the hype about?'

'I'm getting married'. I said to him as I closed my eyes. He choked on his coffee. 'Don't freak out please.' I begged.

'I'm not freaking out. I'm just shocked.' 'You never told me you had a boyfriend'.

'You're right. I don't have one.'

'Then what's the talk about marriage? Hey stop scaring me.'

I hanged my head low. 'I still don't believe it but I'm not scaring you. It's real. It's an arranged marriage due to company problems.

'I still don't understand.'

'My parents' company is running huge losses. It has to be merged with my fiancé's family's company and for that, marriage has to happen.' I said as Mino's expression changed.

'I'm really sorry about that.'

'it's okay, Mino. I'll get through it.'

'So how's he? Your fiancé?' he asked me.

'I've not even met him.'

'Heejin....' He held me hands 'I don't want you to get married......' I looked up in surprise. What did he mean? '....to a man you don't love.' he completed, sensing my discomfort.

'Urgh... I have to leave. I'll call you.' I stood up and walked out.
