Transfer Student

I sighed as I walked into class. Today was the first day back from break and was still overwhelmed with what happened over break. I had tried to talk with everyone after the incidence but everyone was super busy. Magi and Stanny had to catch up on all the work they missed from recovering and to my surprise were college students in one of the best school (Stony Brook) and so their break ended before mines and they returned to their studies. Mimi and Max was swamped with work as well, Max cause he was away for so long and Mimi because she was forced not to work until all her injuries healed. While everyone was out I was forced to stay at home just in case Ember came back and tried to kidnap me again and it was because of me that everyone had gotten hurt so I decided to listen and study various skills to help protect myself. I sat down in the lecture hall and took out my materials. I was sitting alone because of my reputation of being the weirdo and also because I was close to Max who is like an idol here. My only other best friend didn't have many classes with me. I hadn't seen her over the break cause she had left the country to see her family in England. I looked up to see the professor coming in and with another student.

I rubbed my eyes to get a clearer look on the new student and saw MIMI?!?! She walked into the class with a pretty simple light blue dress and her hair in a ponytail. Everyone had stop talking to see the new student "ahem This will be your first class if you need more help getting around please don't hesitate to ask anyone here" The professor said to Mimi "Thank you, very much" she smiled and walked up the aisle and then took a seat right next to me. I could feel all the glares of all jealous guys and girls in the lecture hall. "why is she sitting with that weirdo" "I bet she..." they whispered and gossiped to their friends. I sigh and decided to pretend not to know her but, seems like she had other plans "Naki, I'm so happy to see you here. I was so nervous coming here I'm so glad I was able to find my childhood FRIEND" she says so innocently while hugging me "play along" she whispered "Oh... yea nice to see you bestie" I replied Everyone lowered their glares and decided to talk about something else probably cause they didn't want ruin it and cause the professor had started his lecture.

~~~~AFTER THE LECTURE~~~~

"Remember to do your assignments and Mimi please come see me" the professor said finally ending his lecture "Naki wait for me?" Mimi asked nicely. I looked at my watch and decided that it should be fine. I packed my stuff and waited by the door "I have a few assignments for you to finish so it can be graded I will give you 2 weeks to finish it alright?" The professor explained to Mimi. Mimi smiled and replied "Don't worry I will get it done in two days" "Okay then, don't push yourself" he answered back while Mimi walked towards me. The two of us walked down the hallways and I decided to break the silence "So umm why did you transfer here? and where's your next class?" I asked "hmm.. oh I transferred here to keep an eye on you, after all we can't have you getting kidnapped again. Ember is still out there and so I will be looking after you, oh and I will be in most of your classes. So will you show me around he school?" She answered but only loud enough for me to hear. Guess I am still in danger, sigh well at least now I have someone to talk to in my class. "sure" I replied as we entered our next class.

~~~~~LUNCH~~~~~

Mimi had been following me to almost all my classes except surprisingly the one class I had with my BFF. I strolled into the cafe and paid for lunch and sat a empty table. Lunch was one of the few times I got to see Max but he is usually ushered away by him friends. I sighed thinking on how was unable to stop him. Maybe he is sitting with his friends again or he was at the library or maybe... "HEY!!" an unknown voice yelled I snapped out my thoughts to see a triplet of girls each with a ton of makeup on their faces and in really expensive clothing. I was about to replied before I heard someone call my name "Naki, Hey what a surprise!" I looked over to see Mimi waving and coming over with Max. "Oh are Naki's friend? It's so nice to meet you the name's Mimi" she held out her hand to shake the girl that looks to be the leader of the 3. Shakes her hand Mimi looks like she had finch when the girl tightened her grip "Oh no I just wanted to ask this GIRL to move to another table cause my group wants to sit here" the girl replied smugly. "Oh no problem I was just going to bring Naki here to outside cause it really stinks here for some reason" Mimi retorted as she drags me outside with Max followed us out too while leaving my lunch behind Noooo my precious food. When we got out of everyone's view Mimi's expression changed. "Ugh what a bully, did she really think she could act so got and smug just cause she has money? And what did she think she was doing trying to crush my hand with such a weak grip" Mimi began whining while Max laughed at how childish she was "Naki have you eaten yet?" He asked "noooo someone dragged me away from my lunch" I sulked. That only made Max laugh harder "phew you guys act like such children even though you both have an air of maturity. "Shut it furry, sigh look here you go (hands you a pack lunch that looks to have been handmade) I just made a bit too much" Mimi says trying to hide her embarrassment from her tantrum. "uhh thanks" I replied "Oh so making exactly 3 packed lunches was a mistake? Anyway I'm surprised that you were able to get into almost all of Naki's classes" Max retorted "Yes it is I'm just used to making food for Magi and Stanny over break and you should know better, I ALways get what I want also it helped that I applied to all of Naki's classes" Mimi said calmly I decided to watch them bicker while I ate my lunch it was quite yummy but I didn't want to break up the surprisingly good entertainment. Also I'm pretty sure Mimi on purposely made lunch for us but I know she will never admit it. I wondered where was my BFF though I hope she isn't going to worry

~~~~After School~~~~

I was about to walk back home (mansion) before I heard someone call my name as I turned to see who it was I was tackled to the ground by my BFF Connie. "I was so worried, I heard that the trio of jerks was bothering and when I tried to find you I couldn't find you" She exclaimed "Oh I'm really sorry I meet up with some friends and ate lunch outside I'm really sorry I should have contacted you about it" I replied with a smile and hugged her "I forgive you but just don't wander off when we are suppose to meet up" She said "Anyway Naki do you wanna" she started before she was cut off "NAKI COME ON WE DON'T HAVE ALL DAY" Mimi shouted to get my attention She and Max walked up to me "hmm and who are you?" Mimi asked "Oh I should be asking you that, what do you want with Naki to bully her new girl?" Connie snarky said Oh Great Connie is super protective over me. She would have texted me the entire break if she hadn't gone oversea and complained about going for an entire week I swear I saw sparks flying and it looked like they would have a full out battle "Now now ladies (pushes them apart) Lets not forget that we are on campus and also Mimi if we don't hurry we will be late" Max intervened "So care to explain who the hell is this girl?" They both asked in unison "Sigh Mimi this is Connie and Connie this is Mimi. (to Connie) Over the break I decided to move in with Max and Mimi is one of the residents. (to Mimi) Connie is one of my BFF she has been my friend for almost 2 years" I explained "Naki why didn't you tell me about this? How could you go live with a guy and you barely even know this person" Connie exclaimed Sigh, maybe I should tell her the truth I'm sure she will understand I can't keep this secret from her "Look Connie you see" I began before Mimi quickly exclaimed "Okay that's it. Naki we have to go NOW or else we will be late, you can explain everything to your friend over the phone after we get to where we need to be" She said as she dragged me away from Connie and Max had to start running to catch up WAIT A SEC WHERE IN THE WORLD AM I GOING?
