The veil of insanity
Blinds my innocent eyes
I've lost all humanity
Been clumsily left to die
Feelings invade the chambers of my heart
Wish I just cannot withhold
Pure bliss, from this world I depart
When heroin before me unfolds
Waltzes in ice
Which dances through my veins
Inviting my demise
I've been bounded in these chains
Next I clutched the hem of ecstasy
Hoped it'd find the good in me
It left me withered
Like a dried up rose
It melted my pockets
My life decomposed
I took a single drug
But boy, did I want more
It emptied me to the fullest
And kept knocking on my door
Now I see
How blind I've been
After all these years
I pray for you
Don't fall for this trap
Or else you'll be in tears..
